Xbox Parklife not showing

I bought brand new Cities Skylines Parklife Edition which came with the Parklife game add on code.
It said to go to microsoft com redeem which I did (and I was logged into my MS account which is linked to my xbox) and the code was accepted, but Parklife new game option is still locked.

Tried restarting & even re-installing but can't get it to show up.
I did try going through the app store on the xbox and entering the code but it said it had already been redeemed.

Any ideas please?

Just to clarify, did you reinstall the whole game or just the parklife download? If you reinstalled the whole game then try reinstalling just the Parklife DLC. You may need to relaunch the game afterwards.

I re-installed the whole game, but Parklife is still showing as locked when I go to start new game.

If you bought this code from MS it's up to them to deliver the content to your account and to your game.

If you bought it from elsewhere it's probably best to seek a refund for that purchase.

I bought the game through Amazon, so its brand new.
There was a game add on card inside with the code on it.

Try just reinstalling the parklife add-on without uninstalling the main game. Sometimes it has problems detecting the DLC and for whatever reason a reinstall of the main game doesn't do anything but reinstalling affected DLC will usually fix the issue.
