Can someone give me a step by step instruction of how to bypass the XP firewall to allow playing of HOI online. I can disable the entire firewall which opens my PC up to abuse but how do I specifically set it up so I can play HOI and still have my firewall enabled?

I have read thru the other post here but couldnt find anything specific for XP

I don't have any specific experience with the XP firewall, other than that I've heart that it's easily bypassed by hackers.

If you want to disable it, I suggest you download a third party firewall, like ZoneAlarm to replace it. That one is extremely easy to setup. Just manually add the HoI.exe to it's approved apps list, authorise it for LAN and internet client access, and you're set. Unless you want to be a game host, of course :D. Then you must also authorise it for server access.
