Since people have been complaining about devs not posting here, I thought I should add a sticky saying that while we rarely post here (responsing to many suggestions properly simply takes too much time) pretty much everything here gets a read by Johan and/or me. So do not be discouraged and keep posting suggestions - we appreciate them!

As someone who has posted suggestions here, but not gotten a developer reply, I understand you literally don't have time to reply to everything here, I couldn't reply to everything on my own website either, and it's considerably smaller. Could it be possible that the suggestion sub-forums be updated to indicate that a developer has looked at the thread though? Like how there are visual indicators when a Paradox employee posts in a thread, it would be nice if these sub-forums would just indicate if an idea has been read. I know the other suggestion sub-forums get similar comments about Paradox not reading them, so I think this might dispel this belief.

I've always known that our overlords have always read or atleast glanced every thread on this subforum, even if they haven't graced us with their responses. At least that has always been what I hoped. And now my hopes have been vindicated!

They could just press a helpful/agree/disagree button so long as it's understood that merely represents an acknowledgement.

Or just a "Read by Dev" symbol to know that they know.
Wiz already said they read pretty much everything in this forum, can't we just trust them?

That said, I tend to post when it's past midnight in Sweden, so I fear by the time the devs have time to read the forum in the day my threads will be buried under everything that was posted later.

The problem with suggesting that the devs press the response buttons is that there are situations where they have read the thread, but none of them are appropriate. They may not have decided if they agree or disagree with an idea, and pressing the Helpful button could imply that they agree with the idea even if they don't yet. Also, devs hitting Disagree on your earnest suggestion would have a serious deflationary effect; it could discourage someone from posting another idea later, even if it was a much better idea (or at least one the devs would be more likely to consider).

This sticky is sufficient. Just trust them; they've given us no reason not to :)

Well you can't really blame us you respond to the people who do it the wrong way but not to the people who do it the right way.

I know you guys read and we appreciate! I posted the "sortie" idea about the forts ages before its release. I wasnt probably the first, and I didnt get too much attention, but i like to think my suggestion was read and summed to other similar ones!

How frequently do you read it? If i post a thread and people dis/agree but don't reply, what are the odds that gets read if it's on page 2 after a couple of hours and within a day ~ page 4?

I'm gonna disagree with people who think there ought to be a "suggestion under consideration" or even "read by developers" indication - it would just get too messy. However, a "suggestion accepted, planned for an upcoming release" indication might not be a bad idea.
