Yet another newbie patch question...

Hi. Got 1.05 runnin' nicely but want 1.05c.

D/L 1.05c as directed etc and obtained ZIP. I was told to dump it in my HoI folder, but these things usually autorun/load. This didn't. I am left with a bunch of BITMAP and mod files with no idea of where to put them. Which specific part of the HoI folder?

Again, sorry for the dumb-ass question but I can't find a (simple) explaination as to where this all goes on the other threads.

Am I the only one in the world who doesn't understand this stuff?

1) Install 1.05
2) Download 1.05C.
3) Beta files do not have an auto installer. Therfore you must unzip them into the HOI folder.
4) You should select "overwrite All" option when unziping.
5) Also select "Maintain Directory structure" or "keep directory names" however it is worded on your program that unzips files. If using XPs built in unzipper, then this is automatic.
6) THat's it you are done, enjoy playing the new patch.
