How can I reduce the EU2 map, from Portugal to Afghanistan with North Africa, so that I can increase the level of zoom?

The lands further afghanistan are permanent unknow land.
The mod is setting more and less in 400 - 800 A.D.
So it will be possible to increase the zoom with a smaller map. Sure?

Well if you make a new map with only Portugal to Afghanistan then yes you can zoom further in. But making a new map is not just something you do. It takes months.

I started to make a new map: Elio Vasa help me. I did all Spain and Portugal with about 70 provinces.
