I hope that you are just mixing two people up, but he should be named Igor, not Oleg.
You are absolutely right, I got his name mixed up with his predecessor.

Another question: Is 'Sigurd Håkonsson Ladejarl' earl of Trondheim in this timestamp?
The Lade-dynasty held this title for several generations (often just refered to as the 'Ladejarls'), and one of them, Håkon, ended up ruling entire Norway from 970-995 with no king above him and is known as a fierce anti-christian, so it would be interesting to see the dynasty added.
What about Normandy will you give them the awesome nicknames they deserve?
Rollo the Walker (Dead in 936) and William Longsword (Ruling in 936)
I thought that Shia was the most powerful religion but with no opinion penalty for raising levies........this Is a weapon to surpass Metal Gear
The sack of Mecca was in 930, so already happened and probably why he got a bloodline.
Not sure what that as to do with me, was just commenting that the sack of Mecca had already happened at that point in time.
Wow, I am VERY excited for this patch and the new bookmark.
I do have a question though - is there any plans to change the coat of arms of England for the bookmarks before 1066? The Three Lions don't look quite right for Saxons, a Wyvern would be much preferred. Considering the mechanics exist in the game to change coats of arms for certain rulers and start dates, why hasn't this already been done?
Will Sigurd Ladejarl be set as Close Friend to Håkon the Good? Would be nice if he was also given custom stats, and a 0 year old son (Håkon, future de facto ruler of Norway).

Poland will feudal or tribal at this bookmark?
Any chance of seeing elevated Manichaeism, or the previously-discussed Celtic paganism?![]()

No idea for the future, but definitely not for this specific update.
Will Sardinians (if not in this patch, then in the general future):
-have the same access as Italian and Greek, to delve into the classics?
-use Italian graphics?
-have unique retinue?
The Quarmatians could benefit from a special republican government. Sardinians too could have an interesting government for the earlier start dates.
Though i understand that you developers have limited time and resources (yet you accomplish so much) i hope these could be address if you'd ever consider a deepening of republics in general. :3
Could we please stop adding dead religions for meme value
Especially druidism, at the least hellenism and khemetic faiths we know enough about to give mechanics to. We know next to nothing about the British celtic faith and all we do have is written by roman sources. Heresies need fleshing out both orthodox and Islam could use an overhaul can we talk about druidism after that happens? If we must have more pagans what about the daylamites, that at least is historically justifiable
awesome enough to add one day when the devs are really drunk
@Snow Crystal , since you're giving some attention to Sardinia, shouldn't they be orthodox prior to 1092?

This talk about retinues made me remember that Alans don't have a special one. I know it has nothing to do with the discussion but could you add one to them? I think they were just forgotten.
Hey snow, know anything about the lands of certain Zoroastrian Persian king who died only a year before the start.![]()
