CK3 Dev Diary #88: Achievements

Hello and welcome to another development diary for the Royal Court!

With release drawing nearer the time has come to show the 20 new achievements that come with the update. As with previous achievements we have aimed to have a good mix of easier to harder achievements with some focusing on new features and others on interesting challenges or starts.

Very Easy​

That was all for today and for the very last development diary prior to the release of the Royal Court! Next Tuesday the patch notes for the update that goes along with the Royal Court expansion will be posted.

I saw the length of the Patch Notes. It scared me... It's... too many Groogies long.

Samosata at start is not a seljuk count,will this change?

Is the "learn 10 languages" in easy because its easy when you are on the learning lifesyle?

The achievements look neat. Will definitely be trying for a Lingua France run in my first Basque game just to try.

Im usually not an achievement person but there are some pretty neat ones here, especially those focused on specific characters/regions/dynasties.

Does the "Turkish Eagle" achievement imply the control of Samosata has been given to Süleyman Kutalmisoglu? (The founder of the Rumseljuks), right now he doesnt start landed. Would be a nice change :)

Very nice. This time i've learned my lessons. Though i have high expectations and can't wait to try it, i will wait at least to months. The buggy experience that the release was and what we saw of EU IV in the latest dlcs gives me no hope that this will be less than a bug fest. Although it will be great at some point!

Actually, I'm surprised not to see "Legacy of the Indo-Norse" in the list.

I was 90% sure it'd be an achievement :)

All of sweden would be a good compromise. As it is a swedish custom.

I think it was deemed a bit troublesome to start in Africa and only be able to be a Count (I think that's how it works), keep the African title and make it all the way to Sweden :p Memeworthy for sure, but I think it'd make for more frustration in order to obtain.

That said, the Swedish custom did inspire it ;)

The Nobody comes to Fika sounds like an interesting achievment. A difficult start where you have to remain compact but obtain a lot of prestige. The easiest route would be a hybrid culture I guess and then trying to form Kanem-Bornu, or do you have to keep the county-title as primary for the entire time?

Fresh from the designers:
You only have to have it as primary when you diverge, afterwards you're free to do whatever.

So you'll have to get the needed prestige and such as a count.
