Dev Diary #116 - Agrarian Research Techniques

... Anyone watching? No? Good.

Ok, just you and me. Great, because I've only got a few wee lil morsels today and I don't want to share them with too many people. So let's all just keep this quiet and, if anyone asks, the dev diary was about how we research thirteenth century agrarian techniques in rural France. Got it? Good.

I want you to tell me what this historical character...

... this historical character...

... and this historical character all have in common.

Figured it out? Yes? No? Waiting for someone else to scan through every character in the game before you hazard a guess? Ok, well, to be a bit fairer, it's got something to do with this:

The list includes all the interactions in a particular category. You would not see all of them at the same time like this.
:D This has nothing to do with Wards & Wardens.

Finally, none of them are directly connected to this chap:

Alright, that's all I've got for you today, but I expect to be going over that list again soon. And in detail. If anyone asks, remember: rural France, agriculture, thirteenth century, yada yada.

Till next time!

Wait, if we're going on the assumption this'll involve regencies AND that the big list of interactions could be of both the regent and the regency (regenter?), then I'm throwing my hat in the ring and saying this

HAS to be "Dethrone" or "Depose liege"

PDS_Noodle said that the DD contained two teasers, so the fourth guy may well be about something else entirely.
At least two. For what it's worth, the total number is 4, although technically I guess you could count it as 5.

Edit: whilst we're here, I'll say the three more obscure clues haven't even been picked up on for evaluation, from what I've seen.

I know, having nothing to do with the other three could be a clue too
It's a different teaser entirely, and the easiest, and technically has nothing to do with the person, and...

Hmm... With certain cultures, revoking titles costs renown, and designate heir obviously does with family, so does disinherit. But this also ties the realm in together. So could this be about how characters tie into the realm?

Not very amusing. Can we maybe get something... actually informative? If you wanna do puzzles that is fine but maybe make them less crucial to accessing the information and make them feasible for someone who doesn't want to spend hours of their life or can't due to IRL obligations?

Bird cages in the last picture? And maybe a water bowl on the floor by the character’s feet…a menagerie, perhaps? Animals assembled from the character’s travels?

Edit: A ‘helpful’ react from Wokeg on this post…I’m quite enjoying this haha, unless I’m getting epically trolled!

Well, it seems - emphasis on "seems" - it is more stuff tied directly to characters and RP, which I believe is not what the game needs at the moment. I think the game would be better served with more strategic and management content of one's own realm.
Underwhelmed yet again with the content so far of another DLC, but as long as PDX doesn't implement Martians or Aztecs, I know I'll be getting the new stuff...

Contemplating this latest crypticism, we can see everybody's feet, which aren't normally encountered in the course of gameplay. There must be some meaning to this. Bringing our vassals to heel, maybe? These characters are standing on their own two feet, implying some sort of autonomy for them?
