Good day all. Today is our first development diary post-release of Cradle of Civilization. I'll be talking about our immediate plans going forward and what can be expected with regards to future plans, bugfixes and looking towards 1.24.

So Cradle of Civilization was released last week and we're very pleased to read your feedback on it. It's heartwarming to see our game still growing in popularity and our team has been taking on what we've read from you. It has also been great fun to see so many people playing in 1.23 enjoying the work we've put in the Middle East. Many players advancing forward as the Mamluks or taking a minor of their choice to form Persia from the disintegrating Timurid Empire has been a real pat on the back (I never imagined Mamluks could become such a popular pick in EU's lifetime)

With regard to what we are up to now and our future plans, we are working our way through bugs reported from the community with a view to releasing an opt-in patch to fix some of the more glaring issues in 1.23 / Cradle of Civilization. This patch will be available, if all goes to plan, within the week.

When the immediate glaring issues are stamped down on, we will continue working on other issues as well as some enhancements for the game which will come in the 1.24 update. 1.24 will be a free update to the game much like the Hungary and Denmark updates, containing bugfixes and perhaps a few added goodies.

As you may have noticed, we have been giving our update versions names for a while now. So far we've had Prussia, Denmark, Ming, Hungary, Russia and Persia. Where will we look to next?

Where oh where oh where.jpg

Where indeed?

I hope that's Japan,Korea and Indonesia DLC, because there aren't enough historic events.
For an example I can't unite Japan an be the Tenno. So I want that I can be the Tenno.

Indonesia, Malaya and Philippines are the areas which lack the more flavour and small countries. Philipines and a few islands like Papua, Borneo or Sumatra could also receive many new provinces, as they are much less detailed than other areas of the game
India could receive a few more provinces, like Persia and China, but it's probably less needed.

Got an issue since the release of CoC. We startet our multiplayerround yesterday and people can´t load the game in singleplayer, because of missing DLC. But the only thing they are missing are some content packs. Is this intentional or is it a bug?

Awesome, another Asian patch coming! I just hope it does something about TCs though. It's pretty unfair how OP they are and that they're not available to Asian countries :(

I hope you will tweak a little the shinto isolationism level bonus, most of them are really bad :/

Since your doing malaya I hope you will do it at the same time :)

Ooh do India in 1.25 after SE Asia since is extremely boring compared to other regins in the game (or it will be after you update SE Asia). Some problems I had with India is the unrealistic religious conversions that turn 60% of India Muslim. The lack of unique events and decisions. But I think the most glaring Issue is by the end game India is made up of 2-3 blobs owning the corners of the subcontinent. It makes it impossible for Europeans to make inroads into India since the giant superstates just kick their teeth in.

But the name is about a country, and Philippines are not an EU4 country. And they are a bit small to be the focus of a patch. I guess that would also include a rework of the whole region, there are some excellent suggestions in the subforum.

Think about the location regionally; off the coast of East Asia. I suspect this is an east indies update.

I hope it's Indochina(Taungu needs love too) and South to East China sea trading networks. Japan needs to be included as a proper trade company region.

I need to ship all that anime back home.
