STEAM and Johan have stated different times, with Johan saying it will launch in one week and two hours, instead of the eleven reported on steam. Which would mean 02:00 EST, if I'm not mistaken.
My experience with steam has thaught me to believe only the countdown in the store page. Even when it changes, is the most credible source.
Also, the fact that the sentence about the demo was removed obviously indicates that they don't know if they're going to be able to have a demo ready, and didn't want to throw false statements about it, because when you give a date and you don't nail it, you usually get some angry users. So it's better not to give dates at all.
Didn´t he say DDs every day last week, and that this week there´d be beta AARs?
Regarding the time of release, it´s perfect for me, since it´ll be 10 AM here. I can wake up, have a nice breakfast, and then play my brains off!! (I´ll be on vacations, so...)
Don´t care much about the demo, unless it´s a way to preload the game (or part of it at least).

Really, I prefer playing a complete game from the very start. Don´t get me wrong, I will probably try the demo out anyway, but I don´t really NEED it.
