Important Information

Hi everyone! Katten here, your friendly neighbourhood Community Manager. I want to share some important information about a potential issue you might encounter.

The expansion is now available for individual purchase at $24.99. However, if you’re interested in the instant unlocks, please note that these are not pre-order bonuses—they are exclusive to the Expansion Pass.

It’s also important to understand that the Expansion Pass on Steam is a package, not a dynamic bundle. This means that if you purchase the expansion separately and later decide to buy the Expansion Pass, you’ll end up paying for the expansion twice. This is due to Valve's requirements for selling Expansion Passes on Steam

If you’re still unsure about what the Expansion Pass includes, here’s a detailed breakdown:
  • Instant unlock of Three new 3d tank models and a music track
  • The Götterdämmerung expansion (Nov 14th 2024) - $24.99/£21.99/€24.99
  • The Graveyard of Empires country pack (Q1 2025) - $14.99/£12.79/€14.99
  • Prototype Vehicles unit pack (Q3 2025) - $6.99/£5.89/€6.99

I hope this clarifies things for you! Now, onto the fun stuff!

I thought it was correct in the past, but it seems that Linz switched to Lower Austria when it clearly is the capital of Upper Austria since 1490. Please correct this. You could also create an independent Salzburg state (as is historically correct) and give them their provinces in the Alps which belong to Steiermark-Kärnten and Tirol currently.

Does the remaining expansion pass get cheaper if you buy the DLC separately first?
As far as I understand, this is not the case...and because of that it is explicitly not recommended to do so by @PDXKatten in the OP:

Does the Norwegian civil war not fire anymore once you declare war on Norway as Germany? Was that a temporary placeholder to facilitate naval invasions?

It was fixed/removed a couple of patches back, I believe.

I dont know if it was a placeholder or lacking research, and I dont believe they have made a statement on that.

Just started playing now! I will like this DLC alot but i am disappointed that they did not fix the Bismarck ship module ingame (the focus STILL give us the 1936 hull instead of the 1940). Paradox_Danne said he would look into this but have not. I feel let down.
I made a suggestion post about it. It's infuriating man, I was really hoping they fixed it this time. Since both the Germany and Naval DLCs have been made, I think this was our last chance to get it right!

Worth a try to comment your thoughts there, someone might see it

It's in the suggestions forum with the title 'Make the Bismarck great again'. Won't let me link it...

thank you very much, incredible update, im thrilled with the transport planes update, and the german historic path its now worth of protagonism, but the update to the ai its going to change this game for good, i did not buy the dlc yet, so all the freebies are welcomed, no complaints just thank you.

Guys. I have trouble with the rocket subs. I built several of them, selected rockets, and clicked on the air region where I wanted to utilize them but nothing happened. I see the inscription "Waiting for order". Do I do something wrong or is it bug to be fixed?

Why is it not possible to elect the leader of communist Austria, Johann Koplenig?

Do you need to launch them via the raid mechanic?

Nope. O want to launch them via strat bombing.
And also I can't make a decision to form OstAsia komissariat despite on all required provinces are owned by me or by the puppet
Upd: I didn't noticed Portugal's Makao
I thought all nuc raids were launched by the raid system.

There is some bug for rocket subs. When they are already deployed you can't use rockets until you switch them to other rocket type
got it. make sure to post a bug report if you havent !

I don't get it. What is this DLC supposed to give you that the update did not? I do not have the DLC, but I have:

  • Special Projects
  • Raids
  • New Transport Planes in the Tech Tree
  • New German Focus Tree (looks new, but maybe just the icons changed . . . didn't look at it in detail)
  • Armoured Maintenance Company
  • Armoured Engineer Company
  • Assault Engineer Company
  • Super-Heavy Artillery Companies
  • More

What am I missing, maybe the Belgian, Austrian, and Hungarian focus trees?

I was confused the same way, but upon buying I've discovered way more projects and more raids. Non-DLC option doesn't have raids aside of nuclear strike, if I understand it correctly. As for the focus trees, it's just that the historical German path is free.
