This is a emergency transmission for anyone out there that might listen.

It seems that almost everyone has failed to arrive to the office this morning, it’s more or less empty. The only ones left are me and Goosecreature. He arrived an hour after me, but there's something wrong with him. His empty eyes just stares into the abyss, it's like he has seen something that took his soul and ripped it to shreds.

My searches of the premises has been unsuccessful, it's like people have just vanished into thin air.

I realize that will sooner or later run out of coffee. I need more time… Help must come… I'm the higher officer, shouldn't Goosecreature sacrifice himself and stick to drinking water? Or do I need to pull an “Old Yeller” on him?

No I can't, I can't be alone…

The palpable, desperate need of the human animal to be with his fellow man. Up there, up there in the vastness of space, in the void that is sky, up there is an enemy known as isolation. It sits there in the stars waiting, waiting with the patience of eons, forever waiting...

As the British says:
Wi nøt trei a høliday in Sweden this yër ?
See the løveli lakes
The wøndërful telephøne system
And mäni interesting furry animals

Maybe they all got murdered by the interesting furry animals after teasing them with an interspace toobrush...

I think that the emptiness of today is due to Stockholm's attempt to be more feminist. The city decided that the walkways should be cleared of snow before the streets since more women tend to walk rather than drive. Quite understandably, this caused massive traffic problems for hours. I hear the parliament is tearing itself up over it. Political salt at its finest.

At least that's what the papers here in Switzerland report about the thing.

While certainly a tad silly if taken too far, I think the traffic might also have had problems because a very large amount of snow fell (40cm), which is record levels for november.

Authorities weren't prepared (surprise), and it's not like the traffic was troubled while walkways were clear. Nothing worked well.

Hahaha, well I hope it goes well with everyone away :). I remember once when I was working at a residential college over holidays (maintenance, cleaning and whatnot) we played indoor bowls for larks.

Point to correct or improve:
-patch 1.3.2 and sectors do not systematically improve the tiles, or leave an empty tile for renovation, even when the sector is richer than cresus.
- you say you want to preserve the usefulness of a certain diversity of ships inside the fleets. Then please ... make it easier for us to use it more than boring!
I have a fleet of 500 ships but I will like to separate from my big pile 2 x 20 destroyer because a little rogue has sent fleets on neighboring systems. Count the rolls and click on your mouse to achieve it!

In CK2 diary, Paradox is infiltrated by cultists. Now, almost everyone just disappeared.
We also know evil sometimes win.
Something big is happening out there!
We must send an elite square to uncover the truth.

Yes, a beutiful 4C, and being in Stockholm...

With 2-3 people in the office, they may not have the material to write a dev dairy.

Nevertheless, the themes of the dev dairy could be taken into account to reveal something.
CK2 dev diaries are like this sometimes, and often hint to upcoming expansions and patches.

Couldn't they have written one ahead of time?

The quotes I posted were from the 1982 movie The Thing. A fantastic science fiction horror movie. At the end, there were only two survivors, waiting to freeze to death, and the audience is left wondering if one of them has been infected and become the alien.

I probably should have picked up on that, I do enjoy some Kurt Russell but it's been at least 10 years since I've watched it
