The "In memory of MR" track is epic, so much emotion in that one, really love it.

Love the addition of the music player.. I hope you guys also fixed the stuttering/crackling issues that the game seems to have with music in the late game (i.e. when playing stellaris with a friend in multiplayer, music is fine in the early days, but later on when theres lots of units and huge fleets around the background music sometimes starts to stutter/crackle a bit under load).

Cheers for the DD Jazzhole and Wiz, excellent that there's more music incoming :D. Both of those tunes go very nicely (and In Memory of MR recorded in one take - excellent work Budapest Film Orchestra ).

I hope you guys will like the new music for Utopia and I can’t wait to do more music for Stellaris when I get time off from all the other games we are doing.

Oh aye - Paradox seems to be keeping you plenty busy these days - more games and more Waldetoft is a good thing for us, but I hope they let you sleep :).

Music player.... I honestly think that excites me more than any other one feature coming in Banks/Utopia! XD You guys are doing fantastic work keep it up!!!

On a sidenote: I remember reading someone's post about wishing to be able to listen to all PDX soundtracks they currently own in Stellaris/CK2/EU4 etc. I'm not sure whether I'd be too into it but I could see some people liking it. Basically having the music player in any PDX game have the ability to register the soundtracks for other PDX titles the player currently owns and allow them the option to play those tracks if they so choose. I'm not sure how complicated that would be for coders, but it's inoffensive to those who would simply not use it and fantastic for everyone who would.

Subscribed to your idea! :D

OK!

Soooooo... 2 things.

1) Great to see the music picker make it's way to Stellaris
2) Blown away by the continual effort by PDX to put such beautiful music into their games. Stellaris already has an *amazing* soundtrack and it looks(sounds?) like it's about to get even better. Holy crap guys. Sick music. Well done!

Towards Utopia is my new favourite track, even better than the original Stellaris intro.

The music in Paradox games has taken a major leap forward in the last few years, a testament to the Jazz man himself.

In Memory of Mercedes Romero is just magnificent. Then again, I've been loving Andreas' work ever since the first songs from him I listened to - it actually stopped my first ever PDX game session before it ever started, with the opening theme of Hearts of Iron 2. Alt-tabbed, found the music folder, shut the game down and just enjoyed for that evening :D

I may be clueless, but is there a music player coming for CK2 too?

We have a basic "Next Song" function in the game which you can find in the lower right corner. Otherwise I don't know if there is a plan to develop a Music Player for CK2.
