Ok, a bit of a story behind this one.

1: South Africa left the Allies
2: WW2 started
3: South Africa declared war on Hungery (out of the blue) but remains outside of the Allies. This makes Hungery join the Axis and their government goes National Socialist.
4: Rumanis is Couped by Germany (this brings Romania into war with the Allies and South Africa), and Hungary lay claim to Romanian terretory with the help of Germany.
5: Hungary sues fo peace with the Allies and South Africa and then leaves the Axis. In the days after Romania also sues for peace with the Allies but remains with the Axis in the war against South Africa.
6: Bulgaria see it's chance and demand terretory from Romania. Romania refuses to give in and Bulgaria declares war on them.
7: A month later Bulgaria joins the Axis.

This is interesting, I know that being at war with your allies can happen a lot in EU3, but I've never seen it in HoI2 befor.
In this case it's interesting as the Axis can't reach Rumania since Hungary left the Axis, so the war between Romania and Bulgaria is a rather private war at the moment.

that is interesting i've never seen that before.
Btw any reson why south africa leave the allies england not give them enough gold?

Such situations are not quite.. uncommon.

South Africa holds an election whenever war breaks out wether they should leave the allies or not.

Some encirclements of Syndicalist French forces from a recent Kaiserreich Mongolia campaign.

After the initial breakthrough

I have no idea why they weren't upgrading their ancient Renault FT-17s. Traditionalists, i guess.

A second, more substantial one

Close to a million French, frozen and starved in the marshes of Bielsk.

This was probably the most fun campaign I ever played. I almost thought I wouldn't make it when Russia DOWed me as I was knee-deep in China.

That is one awesome encirclement alright

Lol, what the hell happened there to cause Turkey to be in Okinawa?

USA game, looking forward to stomping the Axis!

What I don't realize is that the leaders of Europe want to get along...badly.

What is the chance of all this wussing out happening in one game?
