Now, about the thief trait...

Terribly overpowered, and I did not foresee anyone using it like joeb was trying to. :/

I absolutely loved what joeb tried to do. He made a very good effort. I wonder if he really intended to turn to the good side though.

He did. He was planning on stealin Syber_sid's role before you lynched him.

Hm. Interesting, despite the 33% chance of dying? Brave.

I really did not see the chance of him turning over as really big. Sorry joeb.

You wouldn't say that if you were a wolf. We suddenly had a packmember who we didn't know and who could betray us at a whim. We had quickly figured out who he was though, still it is not right that you do not even know the own members in your pack.

Hey, I really thought he would go for his own good, and betray the goodies if it suited him. Still I love what he did with it. He got a special trait and played to make the most of it. Even as a wolf you gotta love that kind of play. Despite hating the sitation you got with that.

I agree but if he had known you all he would have sold out sbr too.

He knew you though, and I thought he would just take over jonti's role, thereby you'd only be losing one wolf, AVN, only to recover by later turning sbr. I guess joeb took his initial role a little too seriously. :p

sbr was turned by Slinky. Not joeb. I considered joeb to be an outsider who did not hunt with the pack after he outed all of them.

Cyriandor is next on the list, as muttoneer PMed me a few days ago saying he was without internet access and wouldn't be able to GM after me. Now, Ciryandor is currently infamous for his latest lite game, and if he promises he won't do anything too game breaking, I guess we could let him GM.

What did he do in the Lite game?

Euro, THNX For the game! It was fun and quite exciting!

Good night all.

He knew us all when he became a wolf. We turned sbr later and then it was clear that joebthegreat wasn't working with the pack and thus not really a member, so he didn't recieve GM updates anymore.

I wouldn't have mind this if the wolves would have learned who had stolen the role, so that we could at least have tried to talk him out of it. It is a bit like a JL where suddenly someone is turned, but in that case you at least know the suspects.

I can't blame joebthegreat for what he did, it was an interesting play. If only I had let jonti-h leaderlynch him, like we had discussed. :(

I agree. I had assumed that you all did know who you all were, and that it was a very unstable situation with it being a race to see whether joeb could out the rest of you before you ate him or not.

This isn't right. If the GM feels this was necessary due to the power of the thief trait, then the thief should be a one use trait if it gets used again. The GM should not be making up rules as he goes along depending on whether he thinks a wolf is betraying packmates or not. Players should be free to betray one another without the rules being changed to make it more difficult for them after they are committed.

Oh, with regards to the earlier days, it wasn't oky who contacted me, it was Walrus who passed it on. I was going to out him if it was a screw-up, but for the craziness that was day 4 and 5... AND jerard screwed up. BADLY. At least that was a consolation for me.

And we would've gotten away with it if it weren't for Jonti

What did AVN do with his first day prize btw?

So what was the double hunt first night?

the indian nationalists went after nautilu (good call on their part), and we hunted our own Madman cultist Lord Strange, who, genius that he is, failed to inform any of us that he was on our side, and by the luck of the draw, we picked him to hunt.

i would say that the village got royally lucky twice--in the beginning and at the end of the game.

that said, hat's off to EUROO7, for laying the scene for a truly excellent game
