Just wondering, maybe it would be better if the job of making the new map would be given to someone else?
I know starting from scratch is pretty much unthinkable, but if it was possible to have access to what Garbon has already done (whatever that is) maybe some other modders could finish the map.

Agung Pasha needed less than a month (IIRC) to make a new map based on MadKingJames' work (the same starting point for AGCEEP map) AND to adapt AGCEEP 1.39 to it.
So yes, it is possible, without a doubt.
And without a doubt there will be several new maps out before we get even an ETA for this one...
Does all this complaining really help, sure Ive also complained about things regarding Paradox, but to single out one guy?
It doesn't.
Basically, the answer that I got was "why do you complain" and the mention of "invectives" and so on (PM, can't disclose it here)
It seems that the AGCEEP team took a page from Johan's book: "you'll get it when it's done", and treat their fans as if they're just an annoyance (to avoid using a different term).
But if so many other maps are available, why wait around here?

EU2 with MyMap and AGCEEP is great, just imagine FtG with AGCEEP and a new map.
Why not port the latest AGCEEP version to MyMap if you're tired of waiting?
My only complaint here is that the release date was told to be just after release of FtG... leaves a bad impression. But I don't mind though, I'm still happy with vanilla map.

I'd rather have them say "we don't give a c**p about you peasants, you'll get it when we decide so" than string us all along with vague promises for over 4 years now.

IF only someone had the foresight to force Garbon to sign a contract saying his work will be finished within the generous timespan of 5 years or otherwise the community will hire large buff men to break his legs. ... :rofl:

Guys, calm down. Stop beating the dead horse forever, posting annoyed messages won't help in any way and it may just anger the mods. The map will go out when it's finished, end of story, quit reminding Garbon that we're waiting for it because he's well aware of that.
