No news tonight !
Yeah, that's a shock, the first night without news of changes into the mod since I began to talk about it here
But it is not because I didn't worked on it

I focused this evening on balancing. And I think/hope now I have done enough on it, at least for this version, to assure a balanced first beta.
And the reason I think I succeded in balancing the game ? Well since yesterday I played twice the first year of the war. once as the Union and once as the CSA. Both times, I had my ass kicked by the other side on "very hard" !
1) I have to say (and I stay modest here

) that I never ever lost a game of HoI2 on very hard playing a major power. This is the first time, and I lost (almost lost actually, on the verge of losing, as I only played the first year) with both the USA and the CSA. That feels good because I'm now sure that this mod will propose to you a challenging version of the original game.
2) I think it means both sides have their chances. On "hard" or "medium", the war can be undecided for the first twelves months, so the player will have to make the good choices to assure victory.
I must say that I probably made some bad choices. Those who read the "tactica" may guess
My last try tonight : I hold the line (perfectly !!! check those borders
no events, just war), before being kicked out of vital territories.
Now, I think new tests will be on you guys.
So, there is two things left for having this beta released : fixing graphical bugs and finishing those texts for the events.
