Hello everyone, this is my first ever AAR and I hope you will Enjoy It, For The first Series of posts the writing will be in past tense as I have already played through some of the game. I do not pretend To be a great writer such as Myth and several other notable WritAARs but only hope I can live up event halfway to some of his more epic endeavors like "A Guanxi Attemp at world Domination" and its excellent Ending. I am playing as the Empire of Manchukuo starting in the 1936 scenario, other than a boosting of IC from Japanese equipment and Leadership from siezed japanese scientists and documents early in the game not much modding has been done, I did add a core on bejing Though brcause of the massive symbol of manchu power at its center. I am playing Normal across the board.(kow-tow)

From Humble Beginnings

The Day Was January 1st 1936 Aisin-Goro Pu-Yi rose from bed late. He had been dreaming of his younger days, days when he was a real Emperor, So he longed for more than what he had. No longer, he decided, would he be a pampered Japanese lap dog who obeyed his owners every command. Pu-Yi had a plan and he was going to shock the world with it. A familiar voice came knocking at the door..........

Puppet-Regime-Imperial-Palace-s.jpg

The cold winter air outside the palace was making Pu-Yi's mind unusually sharp compared to his usual Naive

From Humble beginnings

........Pu-Yi's Valet called out to see if his Imperial Majesty Was Awake, For he was late to the new years cabinet meeting. A Mockery of A government he ran, one which managed so little of Its own affairs most of the world wouldn't event bother to send a diplomat to Harbin. The emperor awnswered and said he would be down to his car in thirty minutes. The horde of sevants burst through the door to dress the emperor, mainly because someone of long ago decided the emperor couldn't dress himself. It seemed the one thing that the emperor wanted was change and everywhere someone was desperately clinging to some outdated or inefficient practice. So it was with these thoughts that the puppet emperor drove to the cabinet meeting intending to order some change.

This Is Highly Embarresing But can anyone tell me how to take in game screenshots. The help would be highly appreciated. ( a kow-tow from his majesty)

You can take a screenshot with F11 key. ;)

A Manchurian AAR, excellent. My favourite puppet state.

A Manchurian AAR, great, I'll be following!

Thank You, gladiator I have always wondered how to do that and it is what has kept me from writing AARs to this point

From humble begginnings

Pu-Yi's car clattered along the road from the palace to harbin where this years meeting was being held. His car was Japanese like too many other things in manchukuo, then it occured to him, he would have to reform that to.
"Driver, pull over immediatly" this bewildered the driver, but since the last driver who crossed the emperor suffered an untimely death he complied. the emperor said " get out, we are walking" to which the exasperated driver replied "what about the car your majesty?""No matter he said, I am leaving it here." The driver was wondering what was going on considering they were still two miles away from the meeting, he feared his own death, but he would not die today as the emperor was only just expelling some japanese things from his realm. However, It is even doubtable that the emperor knew how many japanese things were in his nation.

One hour later....................

From Humble Beginnings

...........The tardy emperor sat at the end of the long table sizing up every one of his ministers and deciding whether or not to trust them with his plan. Definitely not Chang Ching-Hui, for he was too attached to the japanese and too amaturish and naive, Li shao-keng would be told only the neccesary details of the plan as he was allowing japanese exploitation and opium growth, Chin Chu-Han was also too close to the Japanese and would have to be led down a fake path or a red herring of some sort, Kawashima may have been japanese raised, but was a distant cousin of the emperor and could and needed to be trusted with the whole scheme, then there was Chi-Hsing, Pu-Yi planned to take more direct control of the army anyway so he was irrelevent, as were the chiefs of the air force and navy as niether arm really existed in any strength yet. He opened the meeting " Thank you for all being here today, first, before we begin I have an annoucement, I will be replacing Chi-Hsing as head of the army." A suprised Chi looked and said "You can't just install yourself as head of the army in my place" to which pu-yi replied "why not, I am the emperor." Chi just sat there, completely flabbergasted by such a move. Chang sized up the situation, he knew there would be trouble, he thought, because he could smell trouble from a mile away though this was sometimes just the empress smoking Opium. "Secondly, I, as chief of the army and emperor, am disbanding it other than the imperial gaurd" said Pu-Yi. The rest of the cabinet sat there and presented petty complaints as to why this rabble of militia that the japanese and Chi had the gall to call an army should be kept. Pu-Yi knew that the militia was innefectual and that the cavalry was outmoded. After allowing his cabinet to wear themselves out he said "we must have a full modern army of infantry and tanks, otherwise how will we be able to defend ourselves against anything more than a peasent uprising, Li put some infantry into production. The armaments minister jumped, " sir, we don't have the technology to train real infantry yet." "then buid tanks" pu-yi replied " and futhermore," asked the emperor " why have we not developed a technology so basic for our own self defense?" Li sat for a moment and said "because.......the japanese............told us not to." The emperor stared at Li for a long while and Li almost craked under the pressure " Mr. Li do you work for the emperor of Japan or Manchukuo" to this there was no reply from Li ,Pu-Yi got his point across,HE was the ruler of manchukuo and he would have a modern army whether the japanese liked it or not for the mind of Pu-Yi had concieved a brilliant plan to throw off thier rule permanantly...............

Hello anyone who is reading my AAR, I am going to try to post once daily but unfortunately I am only 15 and as such have to complete tasks given to me by the fascist proponents of Homework, also exams will be coming up soon, if this is a problem please annoy the hell out of my High School Administrators. I am totally serious please drive them crazy before I go as Crazy as Miklos Horthy in the AAR a Horthy Maddening.

A Manchurian AAR, excellent. My favourite puppet state.

I'll give a hint to anyone who wants to figure out Pu-Yi's Gandiose and Complex plan, Manchuria will not be a puppet at the beginning of March 1936 and pu-Yi will be spending quite a bit of Jade and silver to get it done right

Thank You, OKH but unfortunautly the Idiots who run my school put exams at the end of break so I will have to study during my own winter break, even at my real home in glorious Dixie ( the southeastern US if you are uneducated as to our glorious lands many names) they werent so stupid as to put exams right after a 3 week break ( and we have trouble reading and spelling) BTW thank you for taking the time to view My first AAR

BTW please note, I have already played to late 1940 before I started wring this AAR and hint (my threat to yunnan is 95.8 and li jishen's head is on display in Guanzhous Central Square):D

..............As the stunned cabinet members steadily left the meeting the emperor called out " cousin Yoshiko, could you stay for a while, i must talk to you in private about matters of utter importance to my empire." "of course, your majesty, I also wished to talk to you in private as to what exactly youre trying to accomplish here." they proceeded upstairs to the emperors private office, "Ok, Pu-Yi, what is going on here that was so important you fired Chi and humiliated Li" to which the emperor replied " first I shall ask you a question after which the awnswer to yours shall quickly become clear, tell me the truth about Unit 731 at zhongma fortress, because I know you know what its really for and I have a feeling I do after I happened across a set of papers on the minister of securities desk." Yoshiko shuddered "I assume you have found out it is used for........unique research.......on kidnapped manchu citizens?" said the horrified Yoshiko. " yes, now I understand you are...........well aquianted, with several discontented japanese officers, are you not?" "yes, sir" she then said, suprised at his suddenly calm tone " then tell them this, I will ship supplies and arms from our disbanded military as well as 5 million dollars in silver if they will attempt a coup in two months." Yoshiko gasped "sir..........you are serious......where will you get that kind of money?" the emperor laughed " dear heavens Yoshiko, you didn't think the japanese paid for my lifestyle did you, I've had personal agents stealing back my things from the forbidden city for years." said an amused Pu-Yi" " I will also need you to set up an appointment with the warlord Yan Shanxi." "why" asked a bewildered Yoshiko "would you need a meeting with a warlord?" she asked " my dear cousin, is it not painfully clear, your officers will stage a coup that the kwangtung army will be needed to put down, once the kwangtung army has left a manchurian civillian will "happen upon" Zhongma fortress and its horrors, we present the story to the world and a bribed or decieved yan shaanxi will send his armies in to protect us from japans wrath while we take full control of the country and deploy my new army to the Korean border meanwhile Japan will have a choice, It can put down the coup, or attempt to take us down by which time the old government in tokyo will have fallen and the new one will be our friend by neccesity or choice after the unit 731 mess, as I have A highly influential contact in Englad who happens to have many contacts in parliment, enough to get england to intervine on our behalf." Yoshikos mouth almost hit the floor in amazement, she had never seen Pu-Yi be so sneaky or decisive "are you........sure about this my lord." "yes" pu-yi replied as long as you can set up the meetings "it.....will be done my lord." said an exasperated Kawashima Yoshiko who then turned and left with great haste..........

Yoshiko would have to work wonders to pull off one of the greatest conspiracies in history at the behest of a man who just a few days ago was a groveling japanese lap dog.........

Your sure you play HOI3?

Yes I do, however I must confess that I did not start writing this AAR till I was at 11.1.1940 in the game so the first part of the AAR will be mostly narrative, I apologize for this, however if this is about the pic from HOI2 i just couldn't find one from HOI3, I can however prove I do play HOI3 if you would like:rolleyes: plus otherwise how would i have gotton the CD key.......... if it is about the storyline I would have to come up with a way to justify my removal of the puppet early in the game in the narrative, I will post a spoiler map screenshot from 11.1.1940 or dated in 1939 38' or 37' if you would like:eek:

..........Chang-Ching-Hui was worried so was Li, Chin, and the semi-ousted Chi-Hsing. What was even more worrying for them was the sudden dissapearence of yoshiko into the emperors office, and the fact she had not showed up to discuss what could be going on with them. There was no way, they thought that he would rebel openly against japan, they thought, after he just disbanded the entire army. Chang started off, "what do you think he is trying to do Li, I can't see how a person in his right mind disbands his whole army and then begins challenging the will of his overlords." Li responded "I don't know, perhaps Yoshiko might, but if she does i don't think she'd tell us, maybe we should just play along until he reveals his plan to us. As long as he doesn't try to invade Korea with his personal bodygaurd we are fine for now." "Agreed," said Chi-Hsing "Besides having a real army would serve us well anyway, and its not like he has any real causus-belli on japan at all." Chin squirmed in his chair, or at least in his head, if the emperor had found out the nature of many japanese troops mission in manchuria, he would not only have a causus belli on japan but chins own head would have to be served to the people on a silver platter. He had to find out the truth because if his majesty had discovered chins covert activities he would have to stop the emperor, if he tried to stop Pu-Yi to early he could be excecuted as a traitor, to late and the japanese wouldn't treat him much better. He had to find Yoshiko, and he had to find her fast...................
