I think this discussion (what's better a night or day start) can better be done in the General Werewolf Thread. And I believe that's possible without influencing the current game.

Nobody gets a scan, because the one who gets killed is called IRONHEAD07 or something, and not an actual player. No orders are sent.
This is how it used to be done, before I was a paranoid psychopath, back in 2006.

@AVN - this was discussed rather extensively in that thread a bit ago.
While trying to diagnose poor Cole Sear who was a seer, the Bruce Willis, all sixteen of them, tried different things to calm the boy.
However, nothing works. All the Bruce Willis eventually fall asleep, only to be woken up by screams from young Sear.
"What's wrong?" asks Bruce Willis.
"I see dead werewolves" replies Cole.
"But that's impossible, how can you be sure what you saw were dead werewolves?" asks another Bruce Wilis.
"They killed Bruce Willis!"
That's right. Bruce Willis was found dead, with four bite marks.
