Excellent. :)

Is there a way to control who your Heir Apparent shall marry, or is it kept hidden for the next release?

Also, what does granting Land Holdings do, besides a small bonus in possible Friends and Rivals?

No, unfortunately I dont know of any way of directly controlling your heir's marriage, apart from whats already in the mod (diveroce and re-marriage). Some form of ugly workaround may be possible.

The land holdings titles give the character the vanilla feature of holdings, see this thread: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9689382. What this does is:

Family holdings are mainly a source of income, though they also allow the scripting of special events. Generals gain holdings in provinces they take that are then claimed in the peace treaty. Governors can also gain a holding in one of the provinces they govern, and holdings are inherited.

Looks most impressive - regretfully my Sparta game with the previous version isn't done yet. So I'll wait before giving it a try.
Are the Sparta changed already added in?
Also have you added in new missions?

The Sparta changes arnt in yet. Most of its done, I am just bogged down in the triggers for the agoge education system.

I havent added any new country specific missions in this release. Indirectly there are some "missions" via the decisions, such as forming Belgae nation, forming Celtiberia, refounding Persia, etc.

Later perhaps I could add some historic paths like conquering Iberia the way the Barcids did.

Yeah because 'mission diversity' would be a great plus. Knowing pretty much in advance what will crop up is a bit boring after a while.

I also like the bride thing etc. Should make it a bit easier to keep people loyal to the monarch.
Extra ways to manage loyalty and stability are always good in this game!

Might I also suggest unlocking certain NI early for some nations. To reflect their national preferences historically?

I've done some playtesting on version 1.3, and I must say it's pretty awesome. The new countries add a lot more complexity, and so does the huge amount of new decisions and events. I noticed a couple of missing event texts (event 185412, more exactly), but otherwise the mod run smoothly without crashes. A Magna Mundi for Rome! :)

Cheers, thanks for the comments and suggestions. Adjusting the NI is a good idea, I think I tried it once but never got back to having a look.

Looks brilliant! I especially like the crowns. Would it be possible for Roman characters to earn victory titles like Germanicus, Britannicus, Numidicus, etc. after a particularly impressive victory?

mmm, maybe, thats a bit harder to do as I would have to link it to the provinces, regions or countries and then a battle or war. I will think about that. I would like to see the "crowns" merged into Cursus Horarum though. I could easily make the titles you suggest where you manually award them to a character, They could also be made inheritable.

Thanks mate. I will check out the missing event texts. Now I just need a map maker and I can really get this mod cranking :). But there is Sparta to do first and the rest of Gaul and Germania.

:D Quintupled.

Thanks guys. Keep me humble, I am secretly a rampant meglomanic.

Sextupled!

:D Well done Hardradi, a fine reward for such great work :)

There would need to be 1 thing to enable this to work cleanly, and it would need to be added to the base game engine (i.e. doesn't appear to be moddable).

You would need a is_marriable flag added to characters. When the game engine decides to whom they should marry off, this flag would be checked and skip those with it set to false.

You can get around this via using a sweep action that runs continuously to clean all characters in your country with this flag set and married, but that seem like an excessive drain on the resources as a workaround. Unfortunately this would just remove (annul?) any 'unapproved' marriages.

I like the new graphic to the mini-mod.

Is the localization for events 187001 & 187002 missing?
