I wasn't!
At least, not until Yoshi ruined it :p

You really seem to be quite 'popular' Rand. I'd be jealous if it wasn't detrimental to your health all the time...

I talk too much.

Not that I'm not having fun, mind you. Heck, I even managed to pick out the right hunt targets a few times. :p

I do hope this won't become a trend though..

What matters is not when someone got each of the letters. Rather, when were those letters first spotted. The one based on what I've read so far, I think the one implicating randakar started circulating several hours earlier than the other one

I was the one who combined the two. No sense filling up people's PM boxes with clutter.

They were both in my PM box when I got up this morning. I chose Randakar to vote since it seemed obvious (at least to me) that the votes were on him to start with, and the Ironhead votes started much later. I figured that the Randakar outing was the original, and voted that way.

Still don't know if it is true, however.

This chain letter business is hilarious. Have we gone back to middle school?

DAY 3... OF DEATH!

kalachakra_thangka.jpg

It was clear that there was something horrible in the valley... something that was picking off the troop one by one. Accusations of treason, of secret adherence to the necromantic lamas amongst the sepoys, and paranoid speculation were the order of the day.

A secret note was passed from hand to hand, making the accusation that Corporal John Dearhart, a relatively fresh infantryman from Birmingham was in the employ of the dark powers that haunted the valley.

And the decision was made to put the young man to the firing squad.

He went quietly enough, and did not protest too much when his hands were bound around the tree where his execution was to take place. But when the firing squad raised their rifles, a horrible sight ensued... his skin rippled, his face tore open, and he loosed himself from his bonds...

HE WAS ONE OF THE LEGENDARY WEREYAKS!!

The squad shot him down almost instantaneously, but now it was clear that the company was in grave danger.

That night, the entire company tried to stay awake, although the sentries had been doubled...

alas, it did no good for their most valuable asset in the struggle against WereYakanthropy...

Randakar, the HIDEOUS WEREYAK was lynched
Ironhead 5, the ORIENTALIST was hunted

GM NOTE: TO PROVIDE players with 24 hours to do everything, DEADLINE tomorrow is 1800 EST / 2300 GMT

btw
@gm what's an orientalist ?
Is he just a plain villager ?

read the rules

EDIT: my bad, I had written Orientalist in the move order and Lycanthropist in the description.

Ironhead 5 was the SEER. So... good luck with that.

Consumption: If the Consumptive player is eaten by the WereYaks, that pack will be too sick to send in a hunt order the next night. Consumptive players are aware of their trait.
Someone already asked this but I don't think we got a GM answer:

Hypothetically, if a wereyak pack eats a Consumptive and there are more than one pack around will that pack that ate him be too sick to hunt the very next night or their next hunt night?

the rules are quite clear

OK, I was wrong, you can lynch me now...
or we could try Xeno...

I got one of these earlier but with another name in it...

From the style of the letter I'd say Ironhead is more likely the one to have written it but who knows. I wonder which, if any, of the names are correct.

You have been sent this chain letter because the sender randomly chose you. Please know that Ironhead 5 has been scanned as a WEREYAK. Do not publicise this chain letter; only those recipients who receive this chain letter will know why he is being lynched today.

Instructions: Forward this to two randomly chosen players. Before sending, remove all quote tags so that the next generation of recipients will not know the previous generation of recipients. Do not add any additional text. Send the chain letter to the chosen recipients separately so they will not know each other.

Then, make a wish. If you followed the instructions in this chain letter, and if your wish is for Ironhead 5 to be lynched, then your wish will come true.

Do not break this chain letter!

I received 2 versions. One with the name of Ironhead and one with the name of randakar.

I agree it's Ironhead's style. And his postings in the thread also indicate him as the originator.

And I think he tried a similar thing with Xeno yesterday (see his post #225).

I consider it unlikely that he scanned 2 baddies in 2 days, therefore I have only forwarded the version with Ironhead's name in it.

the rules are quite clear
I take that as "the very next night" then. So there is more than one pack but not necessarily more than two packs.
