What is your definition of GUI?
And what do you mean by "a GUI for every nations"?

GUI are the nice pictures you see in the background while in the intrigue/diplomacy/etc.

And by "GUI for every nation", we meen that every single nation will have it's own GUI. In Vanilla many nations use a basic one depicting the world. In here every single nation (And revolters too if the graphic team will want to do them.) will have it's own GUI.

So thats all about? :eek:o :p
Why argue just about skins?

The images for diplomacy and such are universal, nations dont affect them, unless it is different in AoD?

Nah, it's the same. But a typical GUI item is the images for "oil", "money", etc* and those are indeed skins, as Hax said.

*A (typical) graphical user interface or GUI (sometimes pronounced gooey[1] instead) is a type of user interface item that allows people to interact with programs in more ways than typing such as computers; hand-held devices such as MP3 Players, Portable Media Players or Gaming devices; household appliances and office equipment with images rather than text commands. A GUI offers graphical icons, and visual indicators, as opposed to text-based interfaces, typed command labels or text navigation to fully represent the information and actions available to a user. The actions are usually performed through direct manipulation of the graphical elements.[2]

The term GUI is historically restricted to the scope of two-dimensional display screens with display resolutions capable of describing generic information, in the tradition of the computer science research at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). The term GUI earlier might have been applicable to other high-resolution types of interfaces that are non-generic, such as videogames, or not restricted to flat screens, like volumetric displays.[3] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphical_user_interface

Either way, hell of a good looking! Wish I possesed those skills in PS!

Interface and pictures in this mod is porn

My victory!

But I feel deeply insulted so no looks for this mod from me!:p
Just kidding;)

We will also be modifying buttons and whatever we can, but yes I guess in technicality it is called skins. TRP started using GUI, so I followed suit. They can call it whatever they want, they're making the majority of the gfx. :p

out of curiousity- looking at the naval unit screen, there are 3 SSBN units? does this mean you've fixed the code for basing missiles on subs?

It's fixed for AOD (for which this mod is developed), IIRC.

This is what I have heard. If it is not, then the tech tree will not include SSBNs.

The USA GUI, as seen ingame.

AOD is released and I've asked for a mod forum in the AOD forum.. jump in and second my request, so that you may have your own forum over there.. First mod designed for AOD will be quite cool, me think. And great looking US skin!
