Hey, We are Revolters. Plus, Help me finding Argentinean Minister. Only can think of Perón as HoS/HoG.
 
I think a good tech tree is very important for a mod, and i see a good tech tree there, i just don't like to see Brazil as Argentina, maybe Brazil would have just gave the South to Argentina?

The Brazil Issue is going to be up for discussion when we start focusing on the South American part.

I've recently had time to actually process information into usable game data, and now have a working scenario (albeit only two countries, so not playable yet), which means I've got the process down pat. I am hoping I can do about one country / day in creating the country files.

I may come back here with a request for help in a few days, as it seems some people on the team are having RL delays (as I have had for the past month, but I've managed to finally get time to make some headway on the mod).

If you are looking to contribute, my current tasks are >>here<<. It is the work that most readily needs to be done, and any help would be appreciated.
 
Some round on the word map (i.e. peace treatries) would be good.
For example subjugating the portugese speaking Brazilians to spanish speaking Argentina might not be a good idea. A puppet is OK however.

Also if there are monolithic blocks, the game is less fun.
 
Well, I'll leak a few details on one of the monolithic blocks.

The Soviet Union will initially start out as its massive state. Over the course of the game, events will fire where the leader can choose to puppet a section (ie. India) , which might be fired after some event (maybe mass protests against the Soviet government, or sorts), as to show that India is getting representation. If the player refuses, India will get a higher revolt risk, and the player will be hit with a dissent boost.

In addition to this, we plan to give players the option of funding rebels. Whether or not this is done via event, or an increased modifier for the spy option, we are not sure yet. Events will be coded after we get a playable alpha going.

Brazil, like I said, is something we have not dealt with yet. Another option is creating a few new nations, to symbolize breaking up such a large swath of territory. If we choose that route, the puppets could get an event calling for unification, or a unified rebellion, ect. Still alot of ideas up in the air for that one.

We have alot of ideas written down, but we cannot do much with them until we get the game actually working :)
