Do we have a free TIE in this game or not?

12 players left. The wolves need to get it to 6. We do not have a free tie. In addition, the Seer is alive. No need to tie at this point anyway.

No tie. I will switch.

UNVOTE Torn
VOTE Xarkan

Edit: We could try another switch to another person not yet discussed. Maybe? :D

If my opinion means anything at all, I think we should just stick with the candidates we have.

It's not that I don't see the merit in the SWAP CANDIDATES NOW! technique, but we're already a few days in and I think this day will be valuable to us. It's not like Torn and Xark were the very first two candidates, and frankly I'd like a little less information overload.

What exactly makes me look like a wolf? I am quiet - yes, so are many other people; and I already said I'm tired today. I join bandwagons - yes, it's still quiet early in the game, and there are many others who do (Jester above me for example, who also is very quiet)

I don't see much merit in it, and I think that Xarkan is a good enough hang for now. :p

Either him or Torn do it for me.

9. sbr: Votes don't really stick out to me except that he voted for the 'assumed' cleared walrus. Being the first day, that could be a fair vote from a villager however.

I voted walrus early on day one, he was "cleared" at the end of that day. If you are going to analyze votes you have to make sure you know what the vote means when it was made, not what it looks like three days later.

That would require people to look at werewolf logically, rather than twisting everything to fit their preconceptions

Someone, I think AOK(?) said that Torn had not been "run up" yet. He was the leader relatively late yesterday and had 4 votes on him at one point.

He does seem rather wolfish to me as well, like jonti I can't really put a finger on it. Partly the "Yay we got one" line, partly a gut feeling.

I would like to see him lynched today.

The "yay we got one" was odd, but maybe forgivable, if he hadn't looked so lupine for the rest.

The yay we got one line was because thats what I thought at the time - I had no idea it was a baddie tell. Do you really think I'd be stupid enough to write that as a wolf would I know it's a baddie tell? Xarkan is a much better lynch than me. Yes, I can now see that I look like a wolf, and for some reason when I was writing the comments in this thread I felt like a wolf; and I also could not put a finger on it, but alas: I AM BUT A PEACEFUL VILLAGER!

We couldn't have that, could we?

Exactly how I was thinking. There are quite a few things that make him seem bad; the only one I can actually point out is the "baddie tell" but there are others that add up to a strange feeling about him.

How about we finish off Naut from yesterday? That would be a good move at this point I think. Thoughts?

Edit: I have to leave. We will leave it as is.

It doesn't 'phail', you just can't comprehend it. I'll try to explain it slowly.

Alice and Bob are both unknowns. Cymsdale does know who who is a wolf or who is a villager. However, he knows that, given the current game state, if Alice is lynched and revealed to be a villager, that will reveal clues about Damien, Eric and Fred. If Bob is lynched and is revealed to be a villager, nothing new will be learned.

So if Cymsdale chooses to vote for Alice over Bob, he would be using reason #2.
Of course I understand it, a four year old could, but you said you thought the person you were voting for was a villager, theres a big difference there
And lynching ''Bob'' isn't intended to create any more info, like AOK said, its too keep the players we do have info on alive, its always better to eliminate the unknowns, as opposed to those whom we do know stuff about

You say its better to lynch those who he have info on as it will tell us a lot more than if we lynched an unknown, and you make a decent case for it, but the whole point of keeping Alice alive is that we can learn her role later on anyway by studying the votes on her, whereas we can never know Bobs role until he is dead, no matter how far the game progresses
