However, shortly afterward, Deseret joined the war on the same side as the CSA, leaving Mexico the only North American nation uninvolved in the Red War.

OH SHI~

They're not at war with you I hope?:D

Bah it's not a big problem after all, you'll kill two birds with one stone. :D
Go USA!

Eek...:) it means all my research and those ministers' inventing went to nothing?:) darn.

Heh . . . sorry:(

Hey, I didn't know that the Reds would go crazy!

And now you have the save if you want to chart your own course through it:D

Updating now, the Red War continues!

Yeah, I've known it'll be in this way;) the Brothers will emigrate - some of them:) and the most'd like to help the Federals against the Reds! I guarantee it:cool:

Go on Lighthearter! Unity makes us powerful;)

Meh . . . I'll update tomorrow - kinda tired:p

And I'm removing the United States cores on most of the CSA - all the states that joined of their own volition. That means I will only have cores on New Mexico. Deseret will likely get the same treatment.

(This is for realistic partisan reasons:D I'll be giving the cores to America in a few years time.)

The clear blue shy sat above the Virginia grassland. The sun was out, and the breeze was slight - just enough to cool you, but not enough to freeze you. All in all, a perfect day.

"Target, two 'o clock! Light infantry! Shrapnel!"

"Shrapnel!" The gunner yelled back, confirmation that the gun was loaded with the correct kind of shot.

"Fire." Major James "Jack" Williamson ordered.

"On the way!"

Boom!

Jack grunted in dissatisfaction as the shell exploded slightly to the left of the Rebel infantry. "Correction! Right!"

"Corrected!"

"Shrapnel!"

"Shrapnel!"

"Fire at will!"

"On the way!"

Boom!

Jack grabbed the field telephone inside his tank. It might get him back in contact with HQ, but then again it might not. He tried anyway.

"On the way!"

Boom!

"Rook Six, this is Phoenix nine. Contact made with enemy infantry near Roanoke. Request immediate support. Repeat -"

"On the way!"

Boom!

Jack hung up the field phone. It was doing no good. He looked out the viewing slit. The Red troops were collapsing. Conscript battalions. They broke as soon as they were placed under fire. But then -

"LEFT! LEFT! HARD LEFT! ENEMY TANK! ARMOR-PIERCING, DAMN YOU!"

"Armor-piercing!"

"FIRE! FIRE, DAMMIT!"

The tank shuddered as a Rebel shell slammed into its front armor. The US machine pushed on, able to take whatever the Reds threw at it. The Confederate tank was pouring ahead at full-pelt as well. The two vehicles danced around each other, each gunner trying to get his gun to bear on the other. The two designs were practically the same - one hit to the rear or side armor and it would be game over. Suddenly the enemy was in Jack's sights.

"On the way!"

Boom!

The Confederate vehicle exploded, showering molten-hot metal onto the grass around it. The crew began to flee, diving for whatever cover they could find as the US tank's machinegun began to chatter. Some dove because they were hit, though. Then the gas tank cooked off. Flames burst into the air around the Rebel machine, which set itself to burning ferociously. Then the ammunition stored in it blew up. The roar was enough to make Jack flinch.

The tank crew spent another twenty minutes raking the CSA elements that remained in the area, then held back as the infantry poured through. Jack climbed out of the tank and into the clean air. His four crewmen quickly followed. They just stood there then, watching the Rebel tank burn.

Evidently the drive on Virginia was doing well.

Hey man, you're working on a conveyor?:)

Roosevelt - "Right then - let's see what's happened in the war over the past two weeks."

Richardson - "Sir, the Rebels have driven us out of eastern Kansas - I recommend that we allow the enemy to remain there for the time being. We don't have the men in the region to dislodge them - however the Canadians are pushing troops south."

screensave119.png

Roosevelt - "I don't like it - but fine. I hope that we can end this pointless conflict soon and liberate those poor US citizens."

Richardson - "I believe that the enemy will be coming to us soon with overtures of peace -"

Roosevelt - "No. This is total war now, and we're in it to the finish. Either the Confederate States rejoin the union or the United States, Quebec and Canada fall to "the Revolution". No turning back."

Hull - "Bravo, Mr. President!"

screensave120.png

Hull - "The French are moving men desperately to reinforce against the German Army - they are pressuring us to provide them with reinforcements."

Richardson - "Which we cannot provide, entangled as we are on our side of the Atlantic."

Roosevelt - "Start prepping Canadian and Quebecois forces for deployment. We have to help out our allies."

Richardson - "Will do. This is the battle plan for Operation Eagle, which launched on the fourth."

screensave121.png

Roosevelt - "I take it that the offensives were successful?"

Richardson - "Yes and no, Mr. President. Our forces made significant gains in Virginia but were repulsed from Kentucky."

kentucky.png

Richardson - "General Griswold is leading his men to seize Norfolk even now. Soon perhaps we can start pushing into North Carolina."

norfolkfalls.png

Roosevelt - "Excellent! And did I hear right that the Confederate government fled Richmond?"

Friedman - "Yes - to Raleigh, North Carolina."

Richardson - "In fact, Richmond has fallen to advance units already."

Roosevelt - "Then this war proceeds well. Godspeed to our brave men in the field - and I hope this war can end soon."

Hull - "Don't we all, Mr. President."

Strategic Overview, April 13th, 1936

tell the ai to build forts around paris and normandie as a last bastion should allied troops arrive too late. it will give you time to unite the usa with the confeds, and gather 30 some divisions to send over. surely the french can delay long enough for level 2 forts to be built?

well everyone just get back on in 24 hours. when light says update soon he means whenever he remembers. :D we just artent important enough for him

The Situation Room, Washington D.C., April 1936

Roosevelt - "Right then, what's happened since we last met?"

Richardson - "This is the operational map for Operation Guardian Eagle:"

screensave130.png

Richardson - "Lieutenant General Patton is pushing out of West Virginia into Virginia - he's going on about an OP to push to the Mississippi. I do not believe that such action is practical at this time. Right now my recommendation is to push the Rebels out of North Carolina."

Roosevelt - "I agree, General. See to it. What next?"

Richardson - "Our men have reached the outskirts of Salt Lake City - the Mormons are retreating. Minimal casualties sustained by our units so far."

deseret.png
casualties.png

Swanson - "And Leahy's Atlantic Squadron encountered the Reds in the Chesapeake Bay. Without his destroyers his force was severely understrength."

hamptonroads.png

Roosevelt - "Why was Leahy even out there?"

Richardson - "General Griswold requested naval support for the attack on Newport News and Norfolk."

Swanson - "In any event, the rebel fleet was primarily comprised of obsolete cruisers. The fight lasted seven hours - none of our ships took significant damage, but the Confederate ships were unsound to begin with and the CSS H. L. Hunly was sunk - we have rescued ninety-eight survivors of her two hundred and eleven man crew."

resulties.png

Roosevelt - "At least the Rebs have been taught to fear the United States Navy. How are the French doing against the Germans?"

screensave136.png

Hull - "They are continuing to exert tremendous pressure on us to provide them with reinforcements - but we need to get our own house in order first."

Roosevelt - "I agree. However the Canadian and Quebecois troops don't seem to be needed here, so let's send them on to the French Theatre. They should be quite useful to our allies."

Richardson - "Units are being formed up even now. Here is the plan for Operation Lone Eagle:"

screensave137.png

Richardson - "And here is a general overview of events in the Western Theatre:"

screensave138.png

Roosevelt - "Excellent - the American Front may perhaps be closed by summer. Let us hope that is the case."
