Yes, I do think that would make them hunt targets. But what's a better alternative? Another day of blind voting, with the wolf:villager ratio higher than ever (meaning greater pack control of the vote)? If another goodie dies, there will be 5 goodies remaining against 4 baddies. That's effectively a game over. If they kept hiding, those scanned villagers would be dead in a day anyway. We have to do everything we can today to lynch a wolf, even if that means that the scanned villagers have to come forward (unless Sid scanned two wolves and told no one, which, Sid, if you're a newbie, is not a good idea). Any information would be crucial to our survival today. This is effectively the last day.

I think that we have an extrememly veteran-heavy pack for this game, considering they've been eliminating relatively cleared villagers. Given that case, I'd be wary of anyone claiming JL membership.

Who was cleared? Randakar and Jamie weren't cleared. Neither was Sid. What makes you think they were cleared?

The advantage of having cleared villagers come forward is that they'd be publicly backing each other up and would, presumably, have some detailed PMs from Sid for evidence.

I agree with the tooth. The village could use some tangible info here. How exactly have I been 'acting wolfish'? And why would syber, or anyone for that matter be considered pretty much cleared by most players?

At any rate me and marty are both fairly bad votes for our attack on syber yesterday. Attacking someone we were hunting that night as wolves wouldn't make much sense. And no, I would not take that gamble to have an alibi, and I doubt marty would either.

Truth that the scanned villagers would likely be hunted, but the fact that it will leave a smaller suspect list for the villagers... it would be a good thing... unless Sid's been scanning people who end up getting hunted/lynched. Snoop, it's because of your later comments on villager-ness... read a bit like a crovax to me. I'll hold that vote though, I want to see how the votes go in from other players before I decide whether to switch off or not. I do have my own suspicions.

You took the words right out of my mouth, wolves try to keep as many as those they have voted alive, hunting someone you voted for is stupid because it can only make you more suspicious, voting for known villagers isn't a lot, but as TT said earlier when he voted Lemeard, it's all we've got at this stage without a wolf


Atm there are no standout candidates as far as I'm concerned, which is unexpected given we don't know the identity of a single wolf yet. There are those that have been acting suspiciously, but there's not any real voting evidence to back it up
So it's important to continue to have a close vote to gather as much information as possible, as this is, possibly, the second last day


One thing we cannot do is have a TIE. A TIE between two villagers would give the wolves parity tonight

Because killing him in place of a villager they haven't voted gives them more pack options, more villagers alive that fit in a theoretical pack with that player, making them a more likely wolf, statistically

I thought "pack possibilities" was dismissed like...two, almost three years ago. Well, that was before your time here, but there was a phase in which lots of people used that as the focus of their analysis. Didn't work. Too easy to manipulate with throwaway votes and revotes. Besides, there's two sides to every argument: if you hunt someone you voted, you can claim "a wolf wouldn't have done that". Apparently, it would have worked on you.

Voting on someone who gets hunted means bupkis, unless that person was almost lynched with your vote still on them. That's the hardest thing to fake, and thus the most telling bit of bad packmate likeliness. But Sid didn't even come close. You and snoop aren't cleared.

No u. The only way I would do that would be if I thought that my failed attempt to start a lynch then made him my #1 seer suspect. Makes sense to me. If I had already been planning on killing syber, I would've left him alone more than likely. Of course that doesn't clear either of us though, but using the simple fact of us going after sid as evidence of wolfiness is waaay off.

No u. The only way I would do that would be if I thought that my failed attempt to start a lynch then made him my #1 seer suspect. Makes sense to me. If I had already been planning on killing syber, I would've left him alone more than likely. All I did was refute your claim that your vote on sid in Round 3 somehow makes you unlikely wolves. It doesn't. That's it. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone else. Which...is actually disappointing. I've been going over the voting for the past hour or so (off and on) and I still don't see anything. Maybe I'm rusty, but there is really so very little to go on here.

Right now, I'm starting to think that either he scanned two wolves and took their names to his grave or he scanned maybe one and then scanned someone who was hunted that same round. SOMEBODY should have stepped up by now. Hopefully someone still will. Anything would help.

Tornadoli was also very quiet over in the big game, it's likely he has RL issues, although that doesn't exclude him from being a wolf.

Edit: And yeah, he was always a very, very obvious wolf, he's been getting better recently though.....

Not sayin' you were accusing me thistle. Just clarifying my earlier post 'sal. At the time I said it, the only votes were me and marty iirc, and I wanted to nip dat in teh bud before it had the chance to become the pattern today.

It's possible the JL simply won't come forward, knowing they'll be killed anyways, or sid simply missed a scan.

Has Torny even been a major lynch risk? Is there something about Torny that I don't know on account of my absence?

Tornadoli has never been run up yet, and his play style suggests that if he opens his mouth as a baddie, he gets his foot in his mouth. Also, it's possible that Sid has been pinging only dead villagers all this time. :wacko:

Are you trying to make excuses for your packmate? Sounds like you're trying to justify his lack of activity in this game.
