Yes, I did. I pursued the path which offered as many as possible new events.
Costly, but it is the only choice to make for a decent game after German are defeated.
A perfect step to take, IMO. I will wait for events to come - the gameplay is already immersive.
And perhaps I will learn more about Poland.

o
It is a shame that the Polish often know much more about Czechs than vice versa. Many people here are a bit arrogant towards other Slavic nations lately.
Poles don't know a thing - that is my opinion.
Attitude towards Czechs is between patronising and myth building with some envy (especially about Prague which survived the war), but mostly as if Czechs were our little brother. Rather sad.
I even had to revise my own knowledge to large extent preparing this pack.
I can tell you that no significant boosts came until September 38 where I am now. I am starting to be nervous... CZE voted right in 36 (paternal autocrat) and joined Germany as a puppet via event in spring 38. No offer of alliance to me.
Tat is very rare fortunate/unfortunate thing.
Fortunate because rightinst government is the only one which makes it possible to create an alliance, but only if Teschen/Zaolzie question is answered which is quite possible, but less than 50% probable.
There is a long chain of events which give such options and in this case playing as CZE allows more because some unpopular moves can be made.
BTW I've recently found another reason for animsity between pre-war POL and CZE. Namely 5th Rifle Division in Siberia which was left stranded after CZE Legion found an agreement with the Reds.
Some future POL high commanders were there and most likely never forgot the incident.
It is not taken into account in the pack, but relatively small probability of an alliance recreates that fact rather well just like the presence of the Soviet-CZE agreement from 1935 which was seen in POL as hostile.
Anyway fascist CZE as enemy is very bad news - its army is large and will be a problem and this way you lost some opportunities such as purchasing ex-CZE weaponry or forming CZE legion (up to two divisions).
I have a chance to manually ally with Romania or join the Allies and I am probably going to do it since the situation seems to be serious. I hope that bad AoD's battle AI will save me.
Romania is a good ally. The key advantage is that their army is almost completely at your disposal if you MC them.
They will send some exp. divisions but you can always chose what to keep under your doctrines as your divisions and what to MC.
leaving 6-8 divisions to protect SOV border should leave you with over a dozen of units which can create an entire front on their own or support your divisions in some areas.
If your relations with HUN are good - trading to rise it to 50 and influencing them later helps - they will be potential allies of great value most likely possible to manually invite to your alliance after 1st September uness it is possible earlier.
Their army is quite decent and offer another direction to attack, especially in Slovakia to destroy some enemies.
BUL and even GRE might be possible to invite before or after the war starts and both can give 1-3 divisions which prioritised and with good commanders would work well. Of course it will take time to do somethng with their support.
Allies will join the war in 1940 whatever you do.
In the next edition there will be a posibility to form two divisions in France even with POL still existing, but now alliance with ENG and FRA gives you only some limited support.
There was an ultimatum to Lithuania. However, it has not resulted in anything so far. Perhaps the Baltic states will join me by event.
Historically reapprochment between POL and LIT was the most important problem. The ultimatum led to a mini-purge in LIT government removing strongest enemies of POL which led to a proposal to ally as early as in 1938, but this is not covered in the game because could derail many events (esp. Memel).
Maybe I will add it to the next edition if I make certain nothing bad happens.
In the game you can expect LIT to propose something in May 1939 as it was historically done.
LAT and EST will most likely follow if it happens.
I have taken into account old cooperation with those two countries, rumours about their interest in such agreement and details such as Laidoner's visit in Warsaw in April 1939.
Balts are good allies - should help in destroying enemy in Konigsberg very, very much. After it is done it is smat to keep one-two divisions from each country on the frontline (prioritiesed) while the rest guards their borders with SOV or (LIT) occupies Konigsberg.
A piece of advise - if you are attempting to take Memel do so with LIT division which is not an exp. corps - otherwise memel will be given you and LIT needs it more (its their core province) also for some events to activate.
Whatever you do you must have one large ally - otherwise SOV will invade and that will be a nightmare.
FIN and ROM might join you in such case, HUN too (or send volunteers) + many 'Promethean' divisions will start appearing, but however bad SOV army is you are so dead if it happens during the war with GER...
