You prefer version 1.02 over 1.04? Who are you gonna scrap?
Maybe you should takeover the UK in the early years before they have any troops in the home island. Trash some abbeys and grab some chalices. Finish the work that the Nordic vikings did earlier. :wacko:

After sweeping to power in the events of the Summer, the Ekstrom cabinet pushed through a series of reforms modelled on those of Hitlerian Germany that radically reorganised Swedish cultural thought and vision, whilst emphasising the need for a unified Swedish-lead Scandinavian Empire.

The NSB created the Hemvärnskretsar - regional militia divisions of willing soldiers and paramilitarists, modelled upon the SA of Germany, and under the command structure of Den Kejserlig Bevakning (The Imperial Guard).
The agreement of non-aggression with Norway was torn up, with the proclamation of Gustav V as rightful king of the secessionist Norwegian state and it's pretender. The Hemvärnskretsar divisions were called up and brought to a state of war-readiness during late June, spending the month training and preparing for the coming invasion of what the Riksposten and Vår Front were calling the Pretender Kingdom.
The beginning of August was deemed the best time to strike, the Ekstrom government firmly entrenched politically now, and needing to strike quickly to prove to the Swedish people that they were not all bluster. They also looked greedily toward the factories of Oslo and the thought of the near doubling of Swedish industrial strength. The campaign was expected to last less than a month.
The invading armies were to strike at the two nervecenters of Norway - Narvik, taking advantage of the town's isolation from the South and seizing control of all Swedish iron ore exports once and for all, and the capital, Oslo - as a demonstration to the nation that Swedish arms and manpower was superior.
Within 21 days, the Norwegian Government had fled into exile in the United Kingdom. Safe - for now.

You've mixed up two screens.

Take Denmark first, so you have Scandinavia.
And then help out German in WW2, wait untill the USSR captures Finland and Finland turns Commie, invade them, capture Finland.
And then attempt to sue the USSR for peace, unless you want to capture them :wacko:

So after a couple of test games, I have decided there is no obvious way around this so have finally swallowed the bullet - even if I keep my Belligerence down (around 12) the war declaration adds ten or so, and then the sodding UK (having had two independace guarentee taken in 2 years) gets insane intervention... I could have waited for Molo-Ribbentrop, then swooped in on the Baltic republics, but decided to do this - 2 years of waiting was enough for me this time round. I have the save though, so if it all goes pearshaped, the AAR will reboot from here.

Two years passed until the Ekstrom government felt that world opinion about the subsuming of Norway into the Rik had quietened enough - the British government had been making threatening noises, and whilst a Baltic invasion would have been preferred - The Soviet Union was an awful lot closer than the British Isles were. Ireland was considered as part of a campaign against the British, but scouting expeditions by the Gotland had confirmed that the presense of troops on the mainland could be a potential issue.
So Denmark, had been chosen, as a future safeguard for the soon to be Swedish, Baltic republics, and perhaps the Finns too...

Naval landings in Odense of 7 divisions of mixed, new Bevakning and older Hemvärnskretsar soldiers were completed without a hitch, trapping the Danish commander Von Harbou and his men on Copenhagen. The squeeze was applied as the Swedish armies landed on every available beach from ships departing both Malmo and Odense, forcing the Danes into the centre of the island before they surrendered.
At around this point, the british declared war... Germany honoured it's commitment to keep Sweden independant, and the battle lines were drawn, shortly after Germany's own annexation of Austria. The hypocrisy of the British toward Sweden incensed the Riksposten newspaper, leading with an article that roundly denounced Neville Chamberlain.
To the south however, Germany was making encouraging noises.

Yes enter the Axis ! Tons of free Blueprints, Ressources and so on. You'll have the time to stab the Germans in the back sooner or later.

No - no reload - I play test games before hand. If I had played with Democracy declare war ON I'd have got raped by the UK on Norge...
Shoulda invaded Belgium - they are a French guarentee :rofl::rofl: Problem is, all these countries armies are much better than my rather destitute Mil/inf36 forces (though my first pansers (LT1!) have been build~!~~)I am going attempt to attack UK possibly via Ireland, helping Germany as Axis.
