Hmn. That one would have been nice to actually play on this check. Reckless maybe, but 2 skill cards for each human could be gold in this situation.

@Artell - if someone attacks an occupation force and misses, can someone else then use a maximum firepower card to reroll it? I know that the person doing the attacking can, but ..
(Don't read this as something saying anything about my hand, btw.)

Of course now that we have said that the Cylons will undoubtedly try to detain me .. which actually really matters. We may want to hang on to a strategic planning or two.

Never mind that, they can't arrest me if there are no occupation forces in my space. ;-)

edit: Seeing how the check history looks maybe we're better off choosing the discards. I surely wouldn't mind losing some of the cards in my hand for this.
Getting some treachery in your hand may be annoying though ..
@Ciryandor - you wouldn't have another Support the People card to play here would you?

Hmn. I can only provide minimal help here. The DD has 7 negative and 3 positive cards remaining.

If Ciryandor can't help I'd say let's not risk it and go for the die roll instead. We'll lose cards anyway regardless of what we do, at least this way we won't lose morale as well.

I can not open the rulebook or FAQ because I do not have adobe reader available, but if someone can check for me, that would be nice. It didnt really occur to me, I copied the wordings verbatim and it's just "discard a".
 
I can have a use for all those treachery cards when they get used, so I'll DISCARD. (Besides I don't have Support The People)

Yes. Every time you miss you can discard a MF to reroll - at least, that's how I thought it would work based on the wording. Basically the same way you can use Evasive Maneuvers multiple times to reroll cylon attacks on vipers.

If it is possible to discard more than once the preload would have discarded twice. Meaning I could have used the last action to prep a ship - which was the entire point of doing it the way I did .. I wanted to save tactics for those morale heavy checks and burn the piloting overkill on rerolls if needed ;-)

If I misunderstood how it works that's just too bad though.
