To me that bit sounds like it's talking about what happens in a tie though..

I don't think so. What happens in a TIE is an orgasmic explosion with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns multiplied by Insanity to the power of Lemeard.

Is this a modest/reasonable reaction ?

BTW it's not necessary to answer this question here, because besides EUROO7 everyone knows the answer.

On topic : I'm glad we are discussing the rules and the way they should be interpreted before the game this time :)

Clarifications:

Leader Lynch change may only change ONE person in the case of a TIE to another person, not ALL of them. Leader ability may only be used once. That is, johho is right in his interpretation of the rules.

Cultists are NOT detectable by the Priest, but may be detected by the Sorc. This is intentional.

I'm just about closing the sign-ups. Just need to prepare my documents because I'm not on the PC; using net-book makes for hard typing.

There's an interesting, if rather weird, mental image.

Now I am become tie, the destroyer of werewolves.

or villagers, if jonti is the TIEer

Don't hate on the TIE, the TIE is a spiritual manifestation of Lemeard's awesome power here on the interweb.

Roles Distributed.

You have 39 hours and 48 minutes to decide on your first items. (until deadline)

That would mean 2400 UTC+8/1700 CET (=1800 CEST)

However the rules state :

So I'm confused already.

Another question regarding the deadline I have is : Does a vote at exactly 2300 UTC count or is that late ?

I see AVN is already planning ahead for when he will votesnipe.

This is good information, isn't it?

You are so wrong.
I like to have this information so that I can counter votesnipe or break ties when necessary.

Semantics. A snipe is a snipe is a snipe :p

Not unless the Sniper doing the sniping is just being tactical. Id class that as a
well placed tactical vote if done in a gentlemanly fashion..:eek:o .sort of.:D

A Snipe is sooooo common and produced by dirty wolves!!

The rules are correct, I was calculating wrongly, added an hour by mistake. :(

Mistakes happen, especially with calculating timezones.
But that is solved now :)

But you still haven't answered the following second question I had/still have (and I'm sure I'm not alone in that) :(

Normally that is described in the rules, but I'm missing that in the opening post.

And as EUROO7 pointed out, that is important in votesniping/preventing votesnipes situations.

Hope you can/will answer this question too :)

(and FYI Lord_D considers me a nitpicker, and probably I am one.
But in this case I believe it's good that I'm a nitpicker :))

You're a jurist, it's probably embedded in your DNA :/

But in this case I believe it's good that I'm a nitpicker :))

Okay, here I stand beside you :p
