We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
According to the first post we have 12 players, in the early days of WW Lite I used this set up. It gave relatively good results, but people wanted more players so we increased number of the players to 16.

Game will be bit shorter, but even short game is better than no game at all.

Didn't you hear? It's the New Principle of Werewolf physics! Besides, all the cool cids do it.
I don't think that it changes game balance much even if there is one extra player in the game. But it's likely that jonti hasn't remembered you when he gave out roles, which would make you in practise a known villager and that could affect to things. I think that the best alternatives are starting over and giving new roles to everyone or adding you to the sublist.
hmn, I would like to have trespoe in - he's a decent player - but you're right, he clearly wasn't "in" in jonti's mind during role distribution so he can't be a wolf.
Let him sub in at the earliest opportunity, there's bound to be a nonvoter somewhere anyway.
btw, I think it's a good idea to go after inactives initially. Last game showed clearly why the village needs to force *everyone* to be active. I'd rather not see a repeat of that this game.
