I'm not going to bother and make up a proper defence, but I'll just say that the argument is rather weak, but if you want to bandwagon instead of having discussion it's fine by me. However now that I have few minutes, I make couple of points:

Anyone find it interesting that I voted for Lemeard as he was trying to dissuade me from voting for Olaus Petrus and then just as the bandwagon was building on Lemeard, Olaus Petrus voted for Mr G for getting on said bandwagon? Perhaps my instincts were right and Lemeard and Olaus are pack mates? Something to think about certainly.

What is this Lemeard's attempt to save me from voting? He was just commenting the bondage girl issue, no one had actually voted me and there wasn't any real chance of bandwagon forming against me. To me it seems that he just thought that whole issue was bit silly.

And to what was my vote against Mr. G based on? To solid facts. He was quick to bandwagon against Lemeard after votecount and also based on pre-game comments he seemed to have some vendetta with Lemeard. Such vendettas (which aren't based on the events of the current game) are good excuse to vote someone and make you look like less suspicious if victim turns out to be innocent. Bandwagoning is a good way to make sure that your packmate isn't lynched, although some players might actually bandwagon against their packmate if his destiny seems inevitable.

In any case I was wrong, but at least I would hope that you could come up with more solid arguments than my preference of having this thread work safe or disliking vendettas and bandwagoning.

Just to be clear theres one seer, two wolves and nine villagers right? No sorceror, no cursed, etc, right?

Vendetta with Lemeard? He is one of my best forummates. :p

1) He commented on the bondage issue and then voted OrangeYoshi for no reason. And what makes you say there was no chance of a bandwagon forming against you? You are famous for getting killed off early. Maybe he was hoping to nip things in the bud before the village decided to lynch you just because you are OP. We have no idea if my comments would have sparked off a bandwagon against you, but then again we have lemeard to thank for that.

2) Perhaps, but I still do think its interesting that you just happen to attempt to forestall the possible lynching of a wolf.

3) I know its a little thin, but its the best we have to go on. Do you have any better ideas?

I'm really out of thread after this answer, because this is already work time and not coffee break time.

1.) I had the feeling that people didn't want to get me lynched on the first day after long absence, so I didn't count myself as a likely lynch candidate. I could have handled situation myself if there was actually bandwagon forming against me based on my prudence and if I were a wolf I wouldn't wish packmate to out himself in case where I'm about to be lynched and I would certainly not allow him to to be connected with me when there's no real danger.

2) It wouldn't be beyond me to lynch a packmate and try to win game all by myself. I have no wish to make myself to look like a likely candidate and speak in favour of the packmate. But since I'm not wolf it's not that relevant, I have stated my reasons for my vote and if those don't please you then go ahead and lynch me.

3) Anyone else is as good as I am, but go ahead lynch me. I'm not going to use any more of my work time to defend myself. Maybe I have time to do that after work, but then it might be too late.

That is correct! Or it was at the start, it's now 1 seer, 1 wolf and the rest villagers.

1) Ah but as you yourself admit there wasnt any real danger at the time. Perhaps that was why lemeard acted quickly, before there was any real danger so that it wouldnt be look too suspicious. Hey he was just the guy commenting on the bondage issue who just happened to vote someone else. I agree that in a situation where his packmate were a goner Lemeard wouldnt put himself at risk. But what about a situation where you werent at risk yet, but where there was a chance that a bandwagon may form, so he quickly jumps in and nips it in the bud. And if it does turn out your a wolf...well he was just a guy who commented on the bondage issue. I think he might take such a chance in a situation where there are only two wolves, where losing even one so early in the game could be so detrimental. I mean even by your own analysis right after Jonti made his day 1 post the wolves would likely lose and that is in spite killing the seer on the second night!

2) No but you never spoke in favour of lemeard.;) You just happened to suspect Mr G just as a bandwagon was forming against lemeard, for jumping on that same bandwagon.

3) I disagree. The evidence against you is minimal I will admit, but its more than we have against anyone else.

I also find it highly suspicious that you have voted for yourself early on so as to possibly tilt the vote against you later on should someone else be tied or just behind you.

Wait, theres another seer? I thought Randakar was the seer. Is there a new seer automatically chosen should the original be killed?

I forgot the seer got croaked. There is no seer any more.
I'm not thinking clearly today :eek:o

Late Walrus voters are as good bet as I am for lynch, but have fun trying to analyze today's voting paterns in the late game. As there is only one candidate and zero discussion, except your idiotic accusation and my sound logic and reason, it will be fun in the late game.

And my vote to myself is something I call a protest vote. I have occasionally even lynched myself to avoid tie, but in this case tie might not be a bad thing. I suggest that you vote someone in the position where I can only get both of us lynched or die myself. That way you either lose 1 villager and nail the wolf or in worst case scenario lose two villagers. However as there is only one wolf left tie isn't a complete disaster. If I were a wolf I wouldn't benefit anything from a tie, because I would lose anyway.

While Olaus Petrus did make a somewhat protective vote, walrus made one that had far more influence. He put Mr G in the lead over Lemeard. Further I think it interesting how Lemeard didn't tie Mr G with him, but instead went after walrus. Was he trying to raise doubts about Mr G and get some distance between Walrus and him?

Vote walrus

Hey Slinky, I can see all the little periods in your sig. The forum changed from 39505f to 315267 in the update. :p

As for the WW game... Well I'm not going to vote for Olaus. We gotta stick together.

Vote walrus if only to put up another candidate.

I actually voted Mr.G because someone, who will go unnamed but knows who he is claimed he was that Mr.G was a wolf, and he knew this because he was the seer.

Now, this turned out to be untrue, but I was too busy yesterday do do anything other than that or vote randomly.

:p I only noticed that when I zoomed in. Perhaps it's time for a new screen.

Well since you know that person lied about being the seer why can't we know his name?

Currently this claim of yours is not helping your case.

That explanation actually stinks a lot. So some mystery person contacted you and claimed to be seer who have scanned Mr. G, yet you don't even name this mystery person.

Seer had time to perform one scan before he got hunted, so he couldn't have scanned wolf and clear you and we all know that seer's don't contact unscanned players at day 1. It's almost certain way to get yourself hunted down. So that story was suspicious even yesterday and no normal villager would have bought it. So the question is why did you believe such a fantastic story?

So, I see two possible scenarios:

1) Wolf pretended to be seer and contacted you in an desperate attempt to save a packmate. It doesn't however explain why he didn't hunt you to make you quiet last night.

2) You're wolf and making up this explanation about the mystery seer.

Thus, who's the name of this mystery seer?

If you'd been paying attention to the Howl II group chat you'd know :p

It was Euro, and I didn't believe him, but in lieu of having any time, or a better idea, I plonked a vote down on Mr.G as I knew he wouldn't get lynched on day 1 after a long break from WW.

So Euro pretending to be a seer? Should that ping my wolfdar?
I think we should also check out OrangeYoshi. There seemed to be some cooperation between Lemeard and OrangeYoshi at the end (Orangeyoshi saying that we should all vote walrus, just when there was a tie... and then Lemeard voting for walrus) It might be too obvious, and lemeard trying to frame oy, it's still worth checking out.

Vote OrangeYoshi
