I wrote there a post yesterday, why the hell was it deleted? There was no swearing.
After much consideration I've decided to leave this campaign, because Aladar seems to be pissed because of the matters I don't really understand and he refuses to even talk about them. I can understand why does diplomatic situation creates personal issues but I can't agree to that one.
For what I understood I'm bad because I have mercilessly beaten Denmark up and grabbed too many CoTs. I didn't break any rule nor did I caused any organizational problem, I'm scarred because of my way of playing. In the first campaign I've ever played here, France was destroyed and divided by its neighbors. In The New Day campaign it was Venice that has been annihilated, when in this campaign Austria lost 14 provinces during one session. Those were not agreements, there were human players that were brutally brought down. But it's me who is scarred for screwing up the balance when I cause severe casualties to other country and grow too strong.
And why is there no balance? I've been protesting against ghosting Spain several times and of course no one even gave a damn about what I say. Spain's absence left us de facto with two purely naval countries and I knew exactly where is this going because I've encountered such situation several times. Country that would gain sufficient advantage against another one, could easily destroy it. And given diplomatic situation in this campaign there was nobody that could do something about it (maybe except from Russia, but PJL is quite peaceful).
So Aladar's bad Game-Mastering caused his failure. I don't know why didn't he insist to put somebody in charge of Spain so there would be a counterbalance - that's his choice. I couldn't take so many CoTs because Spain would intervene. But now the situation is quite the opposite, Spain is back when it's obvious who is its target and I will not tolerate such exploitation.
But it's not really about England's situation. I could afford maintaining like 1200 warships + 1000 from France and it would be quite interesting showdown. Besides - I do have a stuff to lose in case of a failure. But I don't like to play under such personal circumstances. I've never encountered a player acting so childishly after a defeat. "You bastard, you destroyed my fleet! Fuck you! I will not speak to you any more!"

I don't see why you would leave because of one player ignoring you.
But I can see a bit of annoyance from others when you whined England was weak 1-2 session ago and this session you sat bragging about how strong it is.
Myself I don't care, well I am Austria, I ain't got any business with England until this session when you offered help(which was very much appreciated).
Anyway I think Aladar can behave grumpy from my experience
But also I can understand if he feels he has been picked on because well, Denmark is the only natural enemy England has in this game, while there was no Spain or Portugal.
Please don't end here, I have enjoyed this crew since I started and it would be a shame to lose you so close to the end.

That's the point, it's his fault that Denmark was my only enemy. And if I knew you guys take such whining seriously there, I would be quiet. In Poland, presenting yourself as a weak and injured is a common part of diplomacy.
It's not that I didn't want to find a new spain but players are a bid scarse you know, we couldn't even find a sub for it, so how you figure we could find a perm i don't know.

The campaign had been an odd one, PJL has only just awoken to beat on the somewhat mismanaged OE (imo). They could easily taken all the asian cots back if they would work together in 1 war, but they have not wanted to.

So will we have full roster tonight or is England still out? Seems we are lacking towards the end and i basicly only have today and next wednesday available, so i hope that's enough for some fun napoleonic wars.

Well, in this campaign I have never attacked Denmark while you have attacked France at least 3 times now (both alone and together with Prussia). Can you really be surprised that I allied England in response? Without England I would have been defeated when you two swarmed Mexico with armies and sunk my navy.
Still, if you want we can always negotiate. Mayhap we'll find common ground...

France is the strongest power? If only it were true. However, the truth of it is....Prussia is far superior to this France. It has about 100K more manpower, far better fortifications etc. Seriously, France is certainly *not* the strongest power.
France does beat the Prussian navy of course. And I may be able to beat France at this moment, but Freddy won't live forever

OE still can beat austria quite easily when HAB has not his überleaders, but it becomes way harder when russia intervenes (damn suvorov).

A bit lame might seem as Russia but I think he would have whether or not Austria was in a fight.

Well, this germany thingy was some stuff that Kasperus himself added, but let me tell you, that apart from their current leaders, germany wont get any new leaders at all.
So if Blucher dies, they will be leaderless.
But with that amount of money and manpower... He can easily muster huge armies so even without leaders he can still kick some serious ass.

Well, I didn't really expect the event, so didn't have much time to decide what to do. And I definitely didn't have time to think about all the consequences...
I didn't plan for it either...in that case I would have waited a few years before having it, so I would at least have Von Bulow as extra leader.

Well likely Spain will be the usual ghosted and i hope the rest will show. Anyone who wants to participate in the final worldwar of the grand eu2 campaign is welcome to show up and sub any nation not there. I won't be home till very late tonight and till just before the session tomorrow, so any edits will have to be done by others, but i don't think there are any.
