I have to say this turn went rather better (so far) for the Cylons than I expected it to :)

But gief jacob, this turn isn't over yet.
Wacky weekend :eek:o:eek:o

CRISIS: Sabotage Investigated

Skill check: TAC/ENG = 9

PASS: -1 Food

FAIL: -1 Morale -1 Fuel -1 Food

POST CRISIS: Activate Heavies, +1 Jump Prep
---------------------------
OK

Ok, we die

uh cards for me GM?

Well, it has jump prep, I guess ;-)

I would normally not say this but in the interest of fairness, I will point out at this stage that once per game abilities exist for a reason.
( Ditto for reckless cards and cards like "Scientific Research" .. )

You folks *really* do not want to fail this check. You guys can add 3 - 4 cards as it stands right now, at best, and that's presuming that Jopi helps you pass it.

Just to reïnforce the point:

## Play 1 big card
Conditional on the usual things, of course.

edit:
uh cards for me GM?

If he gave you any those would be for your upcoming turn, I wager.
If he didn't - it's not actually your turn yet.

##1 card

EDITED: I realized that I don't have one of the cards I wanted to add anymore

1 card? forget this one then.

## Activate my OPG and bury this crisis realy really deep
Too bad that is a once a game power.

Nice one, Cylon DeckManager... that's like what, the two worse attack crisis, plus EL's one to screw FTL jumping? Btw, the special rules should not really stack :(

Btw, we should consider sacrificing someone to God, to jump the FTL. I'd do it, but I'm kinda stuck in here, you know? :)

Two of those attack crisis were Cylon supercrisis cards, not one. I was the one playing the -2 jump prep card.

DeckManager just gave you 1 very bad regular crisis that is only bad because you guys don't have cards, and 1 cylon attack crisis, the latter of which is well overdue. We haven't seen any cylon attack crisis all game from the regular deck so far.
However, the timing couldn't have been any worse for the humans..

As an aside, evasive maneuvers only lets raiders reroll the attack, not miss automatically.
That having been said the humans are screwed enough as things stand :p

edit:
You guys need to do something about the situation in Echo promptly, or you'll lose civvies. At a minimum fire Pegasus' main batteries at the raiders in that sector, or move the civvies into Foxtrot. Or get Reis out of the brig somehow :p

The bad news:
- If you destroy the raiders in Echo 2 activations are enough to move all of the Delta raiders into Echo and destroy all of the civilian ships. And my turn is coming up after this ..
- If you try to move the civvies using comms you are limited to moving only two civvies. And that only works for as long as you have vipers in Foxtrot.
- If you try to get Reis out you probably no longer have cards to pull it off. The only way I can think of for that to happen now is by means of a Quorum card and *that* means you can't XO him at the same time.

## Preload draw PIL and TRE (Can't draw 2 cards from the same deck, I believe. Nor do I wish to :p)

edit2: 4 heavy raiders and 14 regular raiders on the board.
The cylons have 2 regular raiders and 1 basestar left in their reserves, everything else is on the board :p

I would belive that he rolled 2 ones on the reroll. Considering what else he got.

Which means I'm probably broke on cards and were all going to die...

We can activate Comms on Adama's turn, and wait for Jopi to do the same, but the Vipers without me won't last long enough, I'm afraid...

The problem was we couldn't make the Brig check Reckless... but perhaps it might have been preferable, considering this?

Maybe.
Your crystal ball wasn't perfect.

This is a great example of a place where in hindsight scouting the crisis deck would have been more effective than any other course of action.
(Except for the bit where you tried scouting the destination deck and failed, that is.)

If you activate comms you'll have to live with losing 2 civvies and hope the raiders roll crap on their attack rolls against your vipers.
Since this is a game with New Caprica losing a few civvies isn't *too* bad - you will have to accept losing a few while evacuating the planet, anyway - but.. it still hurts.

On the other hand, killing raiders using Pegasus - the alternate course of action - risks losing 4 civvies to raider activations on my turn .. :)

But some civvies have fuel, which is really low.

I could have scouted crisis. And, even if it would have worked, I could bury a card and still get that crisis. Granted, the odds are smaller, but with jump-prep, we were almost ready to hit the FTL (even with execution) and picking a good destination was the priority.

At 2 jump prep?
LS's crisis would have made that 3, Jopi's might have made it 4, then you could jump on your turn at the earliest (barring luck on cylon crisis draws, anyway).

Managing the crisis deck and dealing with raiders need to be high priorities at this point, I think. Especially the latter ;-)
Good point about the civvies containing fuel there. But I suspect losing some civvies is simply not avoidable. We'll see what the future crisis bring, though :)

We were screwed from the very beginning, and now it piled up bringing us immediate doom, and we simply can't do anything about it. Even Jopi will lose, because we can't travel a centimeter with these bloody crisis draws.

We might live a turn or two until fuel actually runs out, but we will die in a few turns, and sure as hell can't jump.

So I say kill as many of these frakkers as we can!

(I could activate FTL, my character isn't useful anyway, but we are at 0 jump prep)

You're at 1, but that's the start of the track. It doesn't get any lower than that.

One other option btw is to activate vipers using the command location. Have adama move to the main batteries and XO Jopi.
Jopi can then move two vipers to Echo to shield the civvies and let the other two attack raiders to reduce the stack in Foxtrot a bit. That will buy you folks time.
On Jopi's turn he can XO Adama to let loose the Pegasus cannons on the raider stacks, hopefully just in time to save the / some civvies. :p

You won't get through this unscatched without ridiculous amounts of luck though ;-)
