No, the changes of converters being released by paradox are almost 0, for various reasons.
And I really should bookmark the post where one of the devs explained why. :p

I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, they seriously considered making V2->HOI3 since it was in the announcement.

Since then they declared it's out of the question.
Of course, they might change their mind in the future.

I'm definitely for converters, I'd use them.

Edit:
Found it
Ok, 'out of the question' is a bit too strong. :p

I highly highly highly doubt there would be a converter packaged with CK2. Or even one made by PDOX. Bless their socks but their converters are always outshone by community made ones.

What would be cool is when they make the next engine (EU4, HOI4, etc...) they build it from the ground up with intentions of having converters for CK->EU->Vic->HOI, right out of the gate. 1,000 years of gaming glory! It seriously might be the only games I would ever need to own!

I thinks it's better to expect converters from the community.
The two converters that were developed by paradox were terrible.

Are there any plans to include an official CKII to EUIII converter in the new game? Or if not at first, any chance of Paradox releasing one later on?
Nil.

Paradox's converters have an incredibly bad track record. A big problem with their CK converter was that tags changed in patches and mods, but Paradox did not have the time to update the converter. For example when the converter was written SGAL was the Kingdom of Spanish Galicia. Today Spanish Galicia has been demoted to Duchy status, and SGAL refers top Frisia. IIRC EU2 has no Spanish Galicia (IIRC), the converter used a similar tag for EU2, so your poor confused Duke will end up being King of Aragon or something. The King of Cyprus is similarly schizo -- his tag started out referring to the fictional Kingdom of Basra in modern Iraq.

Fortunately it turns out the community is great at things like converters.
