Name: Shams [Shams]
Paradox role: Producer extraordinaire
What I enjoy most about my work: That people trust me and actually listen to my crazy ideas.
Little known facts: Besides a 4th nipple? When I was 5 I tore my pinky finger off in an elevator "accident". My 3 year-old sister helped me so I still have all 10 digits. I also like numbers.
Weird talent: At any given moment I always know what the absolutely worst thing to say is. So I try to say the opposite, has worked so far.
Best Paradox moment: Every single morning when I get go to work. Otherwise it's when we do our highly politically incorrect jokes during work.
Family secret: When everyone else is saying: "My great grandfather didn't die in the Finnish Winter War for me to stand this!" I chime in: "My great grandfather didn't desert during WW1 for me to stand this!" My great grandfather was supposedly a deserter during WW1 (very grateful for that).

Shamsy, that hairdo needs to come back. It's got 'producer' written all over it!

Are you still wearing hideous pullovers (sweaters)? :D

IT WAS THE EARLY 90's!!!

Hmm, do you have the same "wierd talent" that Shams does? ;)

No, I have the opposite talent. I know the best possible answer, and then just say the exact opposite of that. Worked well for me sor far! ;)

Hey Shams !
Your sister had nerves of steel for a three year old, i would probably have frozen if something like that happened near me !
Btw, which army did your grandfather desert from ? And how come the grandfathers of the other guys there were in the Finnish War? I thought most of you there were Swedes. Had Sweden sent volunteers?
I don't mean to get too personal, i am just curious because it all sounds very interesting. My great grandfathers both fought in Asia Minor in 1919-1921 (both injured by machine gun near Bursa but survived). One of my grandfathers fought in the Battle of Crete and survived, but was extremely proud of killing those paratroopers until his death. The other one fought in the resistance (as a watch out, he was 14) and then in the civil war. My father is (fortunately) too young to have fought in an actual war, unless i count his defiance and imprisonment by the military junta (we got rid of them in '74) as "action".
Any others want to share something about their immediate ancestors ? :)

I assume it was the British army in India (he was Indian I believe) don't have much more details that :(

Your history seems a bit more colorful :)

Cool, my great-grandfather rather infected himself with tuberculosis than go to WW1. Also not very good solution :)
