I'd shoot at the heavy raider or at the basestar. The heavy raider is no threat at this time but it can quickly become one, so I prefer it. Shooting at raiders is a waste with Pegasus in good shape and a pilot near the civvies.

The basestar is a bit of a gamble. If you hit it you may be able to cripple it a bit.
The heavy raider is a pain to get rid of if it boards though.

## Preload play strategic planning on any attacks against the heavy raider

It's not worth it against the basestar, I reckon.

No amount of SP or OPG's could help you with that. It would be more likely that shot backfired and destroyed the entire Galactica... :D

Of course we could invite you to a nice warm cup of tea in our airlock .. :)

OK, I'm convinced
## Shoot at the heavy raider

## Play Tactics-4 (Strategic Planning) on the roll - overriding the preload.

Attack roll=6+2(sp)=8=one smashed and burned heavy raider.

CRISIS: Mandatory Testing

Skill check: POL/LEA = 13

PASS: The President looks at 1 random Loyalty Card of the current player.

9+: No Effect

FAIL: -1 Morale

Post Crisis: Activate Heavies, +1 Jump Prep

Good for the colonials that the heavy raider was blasted.

## play 0 cards

I got nothing, I don't draw either of those colors.

We are going to want to pass this one, what cards can people play before hand to help?

I can stop the DD if we think it would be more harmful then helpful.

I can make the check evade incoming raider fire .. would that help? :D

I think I might help you pass this one, since I draw POL.
Can we trust El Prez, though?

On the DD, I haven't played yet, so can't help, dunno about the contents of the DD. Still, I suspect none of you played that POL earlier, so DD is probably a harsh negative.

Yeah. It may very well be. But it really depends on the strength of the cards that come out there. I'd aim to overshoot this by at least 5 points if we want to get a pass here - and getting that pass is rather desireable, I think.

Cannot select bold option oddly. Maybe some small program I am missing?? feh

You guys are the ones who need to play not me, you guys talked about what to do with the crisis but didn't all act yet.

Actually, I *can* play something.

William Adama (Leadership/3, Tactics/2) Setup: Admiral's Quarters
Inspirational Leader -- When you draw a Crisis Card, all 1 strength Skill Cards count positive for the skill check.
Command Authority -- Once per game, after resolving a skill check, instead of discarding the used Skill Cards, draw them into your hand.
Emotionally Attached -- You may not activate the "Admiral's Quarters" location.

## play 1 card
Weak. For some reason.
