Sweet, tons of previews coming these days! :) Sticky thread updated.

This got me interested in the diplomacy aspect. Will we see more free-form diplomacy vs other PDox games? For example, will we have offers and AI counter-offers and counter-counter offers? Also will we be able to mix and match various diplomatic options? So for example will I be able to negotiate for a hostage return on the condition that the enemy give me both military access AND 2000 ducats? Or will I be able to pledge vassalage AND give one of my provinces AND one of my daughters to get back information about a rival clan AND a guarantee of mutual agression against the rival clan? And will the AI come back with a counter-offer?

Basically, I've always wanted, and hoped for PDox diplomacy to evolve beyond the "1-item, take it or leave it model", into a "multi-item, offer & counter-offer model". So I'm just curious whether Sengoku can be the turning point in this, since the focus on diplomacy is so big in this game.

I'm not sure the AI would be great at that (multiple things being offered/exchanged at once). Yeah, CivV has it, but the CivV AI has a lot less to do than the Paradox one, a lot less friends/enemies to balance, etc. It would be really cool if it could handle it though.
