Personally, I think it would be interesting to set it to the day Robert Baratheon died letting people play out the events that lead to the crowning of the 5 Kings. It would also be fun to see if you can keep all the Starks alive.
Aren't the Lannisters and Starks religious enemies.
I have completed the 5 Kings scenario. Taking a few liberties with timeline events to make things interesting (Tyrion is a ruler of Vale clasmen rather than the Hand, Renly is still alive yet Robb owns Pendric Hills and is married to Jeyne). The AI doesnt seem to handle things well though. Even with Robb owning NW Westerlands and Tywin being his rival and claims on these provs they immedietly make peace and then pick on the poor Ironborn. Maybe the Ironborn shouldnt be religious enemies. Making them follow the Old Gods would stop the rest of westeros invading. Dany still does nothing, the succession with Stannis, Renly and Joffrey is awkward too, Shireen always seems to die early without producing heirs (even with her fertility and health boosted). My last few tests have seen Joffrey inheriting Renly and Stannis' kingdom titles. The original Usurper scenario seems to play ou the best.
I think I have poked and squeezed Westeros into CK1 as much as is possible. I will be holding off until CK2 and working on my own mod setting.
Siblings can't, at least not in the last version I have played. I think it's an engine limitation. When I played as Rhaegar, I had to do save-editing to get Prince Aegon and Daenerys married.

Aren't Aegon and Dani nephew and aunt? I was able to marry them the normal way no problem in my first game with this mod. Or are mistaking Aegon with Viserys?
One weird occurrence in my current game was that when Lancel Lannister inherited the Lordship of Casterly Rock, it was no longer ruled by House Lannister, instead by the Lordship of Darry. My save game ended up being corrupted so I reloaded an earlier save. In that one, Lancel died and Kevan inherited hm, yet House Lannister was replaced by that of Darry just as before (the heraldry, color of the regions under their control, etc).
Unfortunately it isn't possible to choose any Wildling Territories and if I choose a Skagosian Country I'm not able to save.
Is there anyway to change it?
I would really like to have Mance kick some Lannister asses.
This is a fundamental problem with CK. Your best hope at fixing it is to go into the scenario files and set Mance's religion (and the religions of everything else associated with him) to "orthodox" (a.k.a. The Old Gods). You might also have to change their form of government.
This will put you at more-or-less permanent war with the other Wildlings and complicated your planned conquest of the South, though.
