Hello, I have installed Supreme Ruler - Cold War but when I try to play I couldn't see any units/buildings on map and that's so annoying, I thought that's new annoying feature but once I installed my old Supreme Ruler Gold, I found the same problem! So any idea what I should do? Supreme Ruler gold was working just fine when I was playing it around a year ago. :(

Here is a screen shot:

hhhm only had this, when I tried to build my own CACHE coldwar scenario ... as I wanted that AA Bug removed and that Austria has GE as researchable units, instead of T
as the file was only 4Mbyte ...

after three times that new created file was 8 MByte ... and then it worked !

Have you tried to build your own coldwar file ?
Check the size of that file it should be over 8MByte !

No I'm not trying to build my own files.

What version are you playing? Should be 7.0.71. You have done a full uninstall/reinstall? Are you playing a mod as suggested in the posts above?

I'm using that version. I have just uninstalled and then installed the game again and applied the 7.0.71 patch and still it doesn't work. :( and same for my old SR2020. Maybe it's something with my operation system? or you don't think so? All the other games I have work properly.

Have you actually bought the game and use a legal key? If yes, you're better off registering your games here.
The SR series is known for having 'nice' extra features in the pirated versions. Though I guess that this isn't even intended for the pirate version, considering Balthagor's response.

Same was with the other SR versions ... so we shouldn't revail the pirate trap to the public :)

But also had it once when I started a game where I made the scenario myself (rebuilt the cache) so maybe it isn't the pirates trap !

Yes I did buy the game. How I can register the game here? sorry I'm new in this forums.

Do you have any video settings forced 'on' in your video card software? Such as anti-aliasing?

I've seen a few rare games in which that would make 3D stuff disappear..

No I'm not forcing anything, and my video card is very new so the problem can't be my video card.

I'm going to install new operating system today because I have a feeling the problem is there, because my SR2020 was working perfectly before. I will let you know what happens after I install the new OS.

Given the fact that this is happening with both SR2020 and SRCW, it sounds like a video driver or operating system issue. After you reinstall your OS you should also see if there is an updated video driver available. There is no known bug that would cause this.
