I cannot seem to be able to get transit rights for colonies of other countries... and I can't directly deal with them as the diplomatic offers always send me back to the master country.
My specific case is being Japan... I am allied to France, yet I can't enter south vietnam or laos, and when I try to deal with those countries, its always France that come up and I already got all deals with them. It's really annoying and made me lose 10 strategic bomber as the AI tried to make them go all around Singapore to send it to Burma and they ran out of fuel. I tried sending boats too, no luck, it just stops at their border. Is this a bug or something, did anyone else notice it?
Also I saw another thread about it, I have been playing with update 1... and I confirm that USSR is completely winning the sphere war for no reason, with no major war or conflict going on. North Korea was eliminated in early game, so was North Vietnam, no other conflict happened. I play Japan and been very friendly with Americans, allied with them and trading a lot, yet I was sent to <leaning> then <neutral> along with all other major powers like France and UK , its 1953 and the score is something like 1-4-15-19-29 with USSR obviously dominating... I don't see any reason for this domination, I play on normal settings for everything, I haven't attacked or did anything to change the game, and USA is even ahead in space race...
