Very nice.

Though I think this game was a bit too heavy on the scanners front. Having two backup scanners for the goodies means a high chance for the scanners to find someone they could trust and get an early JL going, which is exactly what happened here.

Thanks for the game jacob-Lundgren!
There were back ups sure but with only one protector and hunters and brutal all over the starters should not have survived until the very end. I am 95% happy with the set up, cannot ever predict for players actions. NO one hunted and the only brutal hit was on a baddie. A bit sad there.

The backup seer bit the dust though, courtesy of trespoe's seerdar.

Thanks for GMing.

I now have the opportunity:

I would like to ask to be put on the GM list for Big..

But I don't want to do the next one.

The list is no more. After the last few remnants decide whether or not they want to host a game, the GMs will be picked. They'll need to submit a theme and setup and whatnot.

I guessed wrong for the last wolf from the other pack, but my picks for seer were Paendrag, Napoleon, or Slinky.

Not bad, I guess.

Yep, this day was lost early when we were not able to off Kiwi at first opportunity and there wasn't a brutal until it was used on Tamius. Scanners nailed a bunch of players early. With a strong JL, some quick hits, and us unable to nail certain players to allow that JL to form, the game was doomed early. we needed a brutal or something to get into the game.

First off, I take my hat off to Napoleon XIX, whose scanning skills are legendary and allowed the juggernaut JL to happen.

Secondly, thanks to the GM :)

My first BIG win! And as a mere villager no less!

Thank you jacob for GMing

Thank you Kiwi for being a martyr and creating the uber-JL

Thank you everyone for playing.

Being a martyr is my speciality.

I think it may have worked better with two packs of four, but how were you to know that just about everything would go the JL's way? I was close enough to right about Bagricula, and succeeded in getting the priest's attention on us. Napoleon got humancalculator, and from there the juggernaut was away. I called it right on gambling on TNT being who he was to save Slinky, who I also couldn't be sure of at the time, and bagged Rysz the wolf on 50% hunch instead. The cursed brutal was lynched and got another wolf, hunts got wolves and sorcerors and backups, the JL had a great time once they were united... it was the perfect storm of evil smiting.

Sounds boring as heck for the normal villagers :p

I am one of those last few remnants. IIRC Jolt and marty99 were first in line though. I will PM them now to see if they are up for it or else I'll get a new game up tomorrowish.

EDIT: marty's PM box was full which indicates he probably isn't around for hosting right now. PM to Jolt sent.

I only figured out Napoleon was a seer or priest way too late. I should have seen it two days before the end at least. :(

trespoe was amazing, he successfully pinged all three scanners for our last hunt. It's a shame I picked the worst one...

They made it easy when they saved the GA that one day. After finding TNT's role, I figured the JL had to be aware of it the day TNT was run up.

Jolt has declined to host and I can't reach marty99 so I'll put up the next game once I get home from work tonight.

But what did i do to give me attention?? I was never in contact with the JL or anyone else except a info PM to OY.
I got lucky and choose three wolves to vote on but that was it.. :(..
Poor poor Paendrag.

THE SETTING
(Role Playing Background only - skip if you are not interested)

Had there ever been a time when war didn't rage through the province? A time when one warlord or another didn't try to expand his territory and just had to come pillaging through your peaceful little village on the way to whereever his goal was? A time when bands of mercenaries didn't roam the countryside looking for employment or, failing that, easy targets? A time when kings didn't sent men to take what little you had left to pay for waging some war somewhere you had never heard of?

You didn't think so but the last couple of years had been worse then even what the oldtimers could remember; war after war, pests and plagues, witches and religious fevers, desperate villagers turned outlaws and floodings and scorching summers on top of that.

Finally enough was enough, you took your meagre belongings and set out in search of a better life, a place to start anew. And one day, there it was! Deep in the forrest, far away from the roads where armies marched and where the king's men travelled - a village, some fields, a church and even a laird's hall. All deserted yet in good shape, even some sheep, pigs and hens roamed around outside the village.

So you settled in, planted turnips and rye, mended the fences and brought the livestock in. And more refugees came. And the village grew. And the crops grew and ripened with just the right amount of rain and sun. And the harvest was bountiful. And the chopped firewood were piled high as the first summer turned to autumn and to winter in the place you still just called The Village.
