Onwerless province - bug?

While playing the demo as the Shoni I noticed one province in central Japan no longer had any owner at all. In the clan layer on the map it was coloured in a green colour noticeable stronger than any of the clans on the map, and no text label denoting ownership, and in the province screen the square where normally there's a portrait of the owner was empty

Bug or something that supposed to happen from time to time?

That is unfortunately a bug. But we're aware of it and working on tracking it down.
