I see a conditional order on a leader lynch as fair, since brutal happens after the lynch is confirmed.

Staying quiet gets people to think I'm a wolf and thus, scanned. And talking gets me scanned, too. Or hunted, if I manage to make myself an actual credible threat to the wolves. With my luck me saying this convinces them I am worth hunting. *shrug*
Frankly though a wolf me would keep being brutal under wraps. It's the kind of trait that a wolf pack could -and should- use to break down the JL should one form against them. But it's only useful to them if that person gets lynched. If the village knows that the person being run up is a brutal baddie they will just ask a hunter to shoot that baddie and then have the lynch cycle go on it's merry way.
So yeah, scan me if you want, but it's pointless. I am not a wolf

Don't worry, the day I get the chance to have scanning powers I fully intend to let you have some time to run around undisturbed. Closest I've been so far is apprentice though, so you'll just have to hope the priest and seer are paying attention and feeling nice.
Ooo, new theme idea since this one has crossed even further into the territory of my original idea.
I put the new theme idea up in the general planning thread, since we eventually agreed to choose the next game when this one got started. It would be good to see comments and other ideas put up there.
Hmm. Looking at the game rules, apprentices are aware of being apprentices.
It would be nice if we could get those people in contact with the seer/priest early, but I don't quite see how to get there safely until we have a JL spokesperson. Daring apprentices could give up that tidbit to someone in the hope that that person could get them in contact with the scanners I suppose, but .. I'm not stupid enough to volunteer myself for the job

Cultists cannot take apprentices.
Order of operations apparently does not include the cultist scan. The Establishment is not happy, and will punish those responsible, while working to fix the mistake.

Relax, my friend. A closer reading of my post should assure you that I have no intentions of advocating that the rabble should change their class and/or role in society. Merely that we, as those talented and gifted by God, should use our talents and gifts to ensure that the masses accept and enjoy their position on the bottom of the social ladder, rather than antogonize them.
However, should anyone seek to change society by violent means...woe be it to him who sees fit to defy God's law in an attempt to benefit his own position!
