Hello, I'd like to note that this is my first game in CK (as Prince of Athens) so apologies for this possibly noobish question.

Anyways, it's 1108, and I've been independent from Byzantium for 33 years, thanks to my Prince, Demetrios Argyros. Things were going well as I pushed into Thessalonica, vassalized half of the Aegean, and became Prince of Galilee. In 1096 he became stressed, so I decreased his demesne and gave his siblings more duties.

He got Schizophrenia in 1099 anyways. Then he decided to kill half his children, a niece, a vassal, and his awesome spymaster (and possibly his 1st wife) over the next 3 years. Obviously I wanted this individual to die in a fire in a very short period of time.

So I've tried everything from disloyal council members (not that they're hard to find anymore) to pitting his remaining 4 Marshall skill in combat against commanders of Marshall skill 12-17 (both rivals and friends). He won't die! Meanwhile revolts, building deterioration, and the sudden loss of my realm's stability are threatening to wreck the entire realm. He's even outlived his Schizo bishop! How else can I kill him? Without cheats?

His one remaining son and heir is also the Prince of the Aegean...

Without cheating, there i know only 2 ways.

Dying in combat, either with a small army, but that may retrat too fast or witha big one that stands a chance by numbers,
even while you may win your battle, the king/leader might die. Well you already tried i know..

Or dying by the hands of a rival and giving that help by having no or a really bad spymaster.

Nevertheless, the game gets most interesting when trouble erupts. If you fail and game ends, start over.

Theres always another count to try.

Update: He's overcome his Schizophrenia, but is still a Kinslayer and must still die quickly.

Combat has failed me with that. While 2 marshals, a vassal, and a couple courtiers died rather quickly, my Prince is apparently nigh-indestructible. He even got captured once and he escaped with the "pray for his life" option!

All my crappy disloyal Spymaster does is beg for money...

My rival did assassinate one of my sons, but that's only because I killed his to get my own son to be heir of the Aegean throne (which worked nicely btw) but I can't risk the piety drop with my high reputation to provoke him again. That same son is well off and with family heirs, and I have 2 family counts as vassals, so there's not much risk of a game over at this point.

You could assassinate him.

He's not on the list (possibly from being Suspicious/Skeptical?) I'd have to play as a related prince or count to do what you suggest, which kinda ruins the point...

Isnt that most enjoyable ? ;)

Once you will think back to this schizo kinslayer prince, when you' re the emperor and have conquered most of the
middle-east. Ahh, those were the days and you will smile. Promise.

Is this your character, because apart from F12+Die, you can't kill yourself ;)
