Graphics not loading after start of game with latest patch

Hey,

After steam had updated to the latest patch for the game (1.0.5 I believe) the game's graphics engine wouldn't load. Basically, the game would launch and when you are in the main menu the graphics, where you would see Sulla standing, etc, would not show up, it's basically all black. You do see the menu options though BUT the mouse cursor has disappeared too. It was working prior to the patch.

Any ideas as to why that might have happened? I have two AMD Radeon 6990m Crossfired.

(Incidentally, I also use two "Radeon HD 6990"s in CrossFireX. Accidental?)

Same by me. I use Nividia 8800 GT. The game is unplayable.

I have a GTS450 and have the same issues. If you alt-tab then tab back in you can get a windows mouse pointer to show up and work. I managed to start a campaign and watch the intro, I had to tab back and forth several times to get things going and get the mouse back, eventually got into the game where everything more or less looked ok, but nothing happened and I couldn't progress (and the mouse would disappear again every time I hovered over something).

This is my issue aswell. I'm running an NVIDIA 9500 GT. Hope there's going to be a fix before release

Assuming I understand the issue here correct, I experience something similar after the patch just yesterday. However, I just did a "verify integrity of game cache" in steam and everything was fine afterwards.

Ops, ignore my above post. Didnt notice there was yet another patch today, and now I seem to be suffering from a similar issue like the one stated above. ^^

Same problem here. Restarting the game fixed sulla, but i still have no mouse pointer.

Linda states here that they are aware of the problem and are working on resolving it.
