Vote Yakman

I'm not sure whether deadline is in 12 minutes or mot, but my hdk vote is invalid.

Day/Night 4 Deadline - Where Writer's Block Strikes Again.

Yakman - Enkhuush (426), reis91 (455), Vainglory (462), Kingepyon (465), Capt. Kiwi (481)
Capt. Kiwi - miotas (482)
Falc - Yakman (428)

Yakman the wolf was lynched.

enkhuush was hunted.

So, now that I'm officially dead, I might as well participate again...

First of all, my Yakman vote on day 1 was purely random. Well, not random.org random, but still, I just picked someone. On day 2, the fact of the matter was that no-one presented a better target, so I voted him again, thinking maybe my instinct had been trying to tell me something. No scans were involved.

As for the game as it stands now, what about Marty, who was pretty vocal about getting the two inactives lynched? Seeing as how the wolves would know we were two villagers, does that strike anyone else as suspicious?

Yes. Actually most of them were okay, and obviously Tai's a nice guy, but one of them was a monumental moron and painfully annoying cunt, and the host was an idiot.

Pewt can be a bit of an asshole, all agree, but he's a very good player. Don't blame Tazen for not slowing down, though, he was just obeying the rules.

Marty was hunted way back already.

Still alive:

5. reis91 as Leon Reis, Navigator of the Pegasus
8. Capt. Kiwi as Jerrold Levert, Navigator of the Auckland
10. Kingepyon as Russel Mathis, Navigator of the Sentry
11. Miotas as Lokir Sigrin, Navigator of the Valhalla
17. Vainglory as Fizzgig Korelov, Navigator of the Magicienne

One is a wolf.

So far only one hunt has made sense. To me, that suggests either Miotas is the wolf, or one of the other three are trying to be clever. reis... I could be wrong about him, and I'd be happy enough to admit that. But it's Vainglory and Kingepyon that have been alternately tugging my wolfdar. And yet here they are, crucial in lynching Yakman.

Would someone like to go back and see what exactly Miotas did? I think he brought esemesas back into a tie with Seen, and that was it.

Also, if the seer would like to make their presence known in a non-rule violating way, today is the day. Size 7 lime green font should be obvious enough if you'd like to suggest lynching someone/not lynching someone.

Miotas put the first day lynch back at a tie after suirantes switched to Seen.

More than a bit of an asshole, he's extremely dimwitted, and just a plain cunt. To each their own, hence why I never tried with your gang again, since I don't see the point in spending a second of my time with odious people like that when I don't need to.

As for the host... he wasted months of game time forgetting to speed up to 3 after PvP, so much for it being absolutely imperative that the game run at 3 speed when not in PvP. The situation I was in, I was suddenly beset by mass uprisings and a huge outbreak of horde all over the country, and I believe even another war (thanks to whoever it was who had the country before me). Even that wasn't the issue itself, it was that I was suffering pretty bad interface lag. For the most part I could deal with that, but I needed to raise at least 50 regiments - I am not exaggerating - to deal with everything. But the lag meant it took about a week of game time just to lasso new units to make a stack. And each time I brought up the build menu, even doing it the quick way with right click, took several seconds. It was taking at least 2 game days to start building 1 regiment. If I needed 50 regiments, that's over three months of game time just to start building them all! It was, without exaggeration, not possible to act quickly enough to stop the country totally disintegrating.

Rules don't exist for their own sake. Lightning was not going to strike Tazen if he slowed the game down by one notch for a few minutes while I got on top of things. No Grand Arbiter of multiplayer was going to disqualify us all from ever playing again. The rules exist for everyone to play the game enjoyably. You and Austria took years of game time waging war on one another, I cannot see how a few months of slowdown so I could get the country under control would suddenly make the game completely unenjoyable.

The "Welcome to multiplayer" comment was perhaps the most irksome, and really summed up your group. The statement was arrogant, condescending, and self-absorbed. I've played a lot of MP games, including strategy games, and including P'dox games. I've even played a share of EU3 MP before that too, though I've played a lot more HoI2/3 MP. We didn't need to codify a bunch of rules and then apply them rigidly about half the time. The way you guys play MP is not the only way to play, and I'm convinced it's far from the best. If someone needed a slowdown or a pause, we gave it to them. As it was I simply had to leave the game as I just could not control the country. A rule is self evidently stupid if it forces someone to leave the game that way.

Aye. I'm sorry it went so badly for you, hm?

Personally, I wanted you to play Sweden. It was smaller and far more managable, and I knew you hadn't played EU3 in a long time. Oh well...
