The P-8 Poseidon looks really good. Certainly as good as it needs to be for the game

. Personally I wouldn't want the graphics to become any more powerful because that's another drain on the system, detection algarithms and good AI are far more important in a game like this IMHO. That said the models all look very pretty at the moment which is always nice, nothing like getting that burst of satisfaction when you sink a Kirov with a squadron of P-8's and it really looks the part on the 3-D view.
On an off topic note I'm afraid I'm going to have to reply to this.
Can we make discussing independence a ban or warn-able offense? As a Scot myself I'm sick to the back teeth of it and esp the kind of arguments that people like Brutoni put forward. It gets repetitive hearing people talk down your country and the place you love.
Additionally its not on topic at all.
I'm Scottish, deeply so, however I believe that Independence is not being pursued in a very sensible manner. Similar to the Falklands if we in Scotland wish to become Independent then that is what will happen. Indeed it might not be that much of a bad idea. However as stands the current man pushing for that independence and educating you on how it is happening is lying through his teeth.
1) There is no proven example of as much North Sea Oil reserves as he says there is. In fact independent analysts have concluded there is likely to be as much as 25-30% less than he says there is... Needless to say the jack ass continues to preach that you don't get any benefit (besides fuel being about 6-7p cheaper per litre than it is where I live)
2) The man is so scared of those Scottish citizens who live/visit outside Scotland frequently (ie in Wales, Ireland or England.... or even serving in the forces and thus have no choice in where they are based) that have a more moderated view that he is trying to stop them being able to vote... WHAT A LOAD OF BULL. So because I have to live in England to undergo my training to become an officer to defend his liberties of free speech and all that I am now not allowed to vote? Despite both parents being Scottish, despite living in Scotland for about 60% of my entire life and despite the majority of my remaining family living there?
3) The man's opinions that Scotland would be able to keep building all the ships (Type 45, Queen Elizabeth, Astute) and maintain assets from the military bases station in Scotland (Nuclear sub bases, RAF etc) as well as picking up very little debt is rediculous. You can think what you want but those military assets are part of the union. Furthermore the people serving on them would of course have to be given a chance to either swap to Scottish service or remain in service of the military they initially joined.
4) Those are just some problems with what Mr Salmond says. The fact that the Electoral Commission watchdog is only being allowed an advisory role over whether the referendum is fair instead of the proper place it deserves as the Commission actually designed to ensure that governments don't pull funny tricks is also very telling.
Finally, it wasn't me who made the first comment. Nor was I insulting... to say that a dead man is dead is not an insult... To say that an independent Scotland couldn't be a tier 1 military is not insulting, or are you suggesting it could have a Navy, Airforce and Army capable of meeting countries like the USA, Russia, India, China, France, Germany and many head on? Furthermore the fact is that the work for BAE being done for our Royal Navy in Glasgow is extensive, however once Scotland became independent that work would quickly dry up and be moved to Portsmouth (where people I know have been made redundant to keep the yards in Scotland busy) and Plymouth to ensure that national secrets while building military kit remaining national secrets... That's not an insult it is just what would likely happen with regards foreign policy. Again the fact that Scots serving in Union forces would be given the choice to either become part of Scotland or remain part of the Union is not an insult... democracy, UN law, International law and COMMON DECENCY demand that those people be given a choice. No doubt many would choose Scotland but some people would choose to remain in the Union instead. Salmond hasn't actually attempted to layout a structured plan with regards how he will approach the diplomatic table with regards these points. There is no attempt by that man to be reasonable and willing to listen to his oposition. Despite the fact that the PM and Scottish Secretary are both willing to travel to Salmond's own ground to discuss matters with him, despite the fact that they want to talk details. In many ways Scottish independence would be a fine thing, In many ways I could support it. However a manipulative, power hungry man who is so good at controlling the masses really is not the right man to lead Scotland to independence.
SO, (and sorry about the long post) if your not willing to listen to other peoples views about such matters then perhaps there should be a ban. If your not willing to actually look at facts and policies and see how Mr Salmond's decisions in many places could actually offend Scottish people then that's not my fault. Do you know what I'm sick to the back teeth of Midge? People who think that I'm not Scottish, guess what I am. I love Scotland, I love the country and miss it. Yet apparently serving to defend it means that because I'm not based in Scotland I'm not entitled to vote in such matters. When I raise those issues as well as pertinent ones like what Scotland plans to fill the gaps in the ship building industry that will be hallowed out by the lose of projects like the QE class, the Type 45 class, the projected Type 26 class and the Astute class I get told I'm being insulting or that those aren't Scotlands only source of income... Which is true, however they are a BIG source of Scotlands income and Mr Salmond hasn't actually discussed very well what he would do with it.
Sorry for the long off topic part of the post. Feel free to delete it if you want. I'd rather people didn't assume certain things though, as I mentioned I didn't even start this.
