Presenting the 3D model for the AgustaWestland AW159 Lynx Wildcat helicopter (aka Future Lynx). This is the future helicopter for the UK Army and the Royal Navy, scheduled to enter service in the RN in 2015.



This is a versatile helicopter, as you will always want on a warship. Maritime helicopters in modern war are first and foremost an ASW weapon, but the Wildcat can also be equipped with anti-ship cruise missiles and other weapons.

The Wildcat has 4, not 5 rotor blades, but two were at an odd angle. Fixed!
