Ok, here is what it looks like in the database right now:

Tu-22M3:

Naval Strike: 10x Kh-15
Naval Strike: 8x Kh-65
Land attack: 10x Kh-37 'Uran'

The Uran is quite speculative, but I don't think unfeasible. Adding the 8x Kh-555 option sounds sensible. And of course the darned kitchen.

Tu-160:

Naval strike: 24x Kh-15
Land attack: 12x Kh-555
Land attack: 24x KAB-500KR (bomb)

I don't see why not have a Kh-65SE option here, too.

Tu-95:

ASW: 12x APR-3E (+ 176 RGB-NM Sonobuoys)
Land attack: 12x Kh-555
Naval strike: 16x Kh-35
Mine drop: 50x MDM-5 Naval Mine

Kh-65SE: Hmm. We'll throw it in there, too, I guess. It's ridiculously overpowered.

(I know it's really the Tu-142 that's for ASW; well, I think it is better to have the flexibility of changing weapon loads than having separate aircraft even though that is more correct)

JanH may I ask where you got the specs about the Kh-555 from?
I havent seen any specs of it and not a single picture!

Jane's isn't very hotlinkable, but e.g. here. I think most of the problem is in the naming of the Kh-55 family. From what I understand, the Kh-555 is the model that the Russian armed forces are currently going for with their conventional LR cruise missiles (it will probably change next week, but we have deadlines to adhere to).

Kh-65SE overpowered? How so?
I just think game-play wise. You have 4 or more bombers. You get into range to fire. We have 40-50 missiles in the air. That's pretty much game over, right?

In a game, super-weapons should always have a good counter that a skillful player can use to stop it. In reality (and therefor, NWAC), we risk having a pvp situation where the winner will be the player whose missiles reach the target first.

Obviously, you may stop a 40-50 missile attack by dedicating all your fighters to expend their AA missiles (and the SAMs will mop of the rest), but then you have lost the air superiority battle.

Well, in the live-streaming the Aegis SAM system seemed underpowered. Btw is that the Kh-65SE you have for one of the Backfire NS loadouts?

You should also notice instalation of Sizler variants instead of Kh65. For strategic mission Kh101/102 would be used (aka red carrots). Also Yahont is expected to be fielded.

Anyway, the problem is not whether or not Russian bombers will carrying the Kh-101, but the lack of exact specifications for the missile. In the case of the sizzler and onyx, there is absolutely no information ATM that suggests any bomber will carry this weapons.
